  1. Rick Moranis. Never thought I would have a booked signed by him
  2. Here is the NF sketch I got. There were no CGC witnesses at show.
  3. He has ab out 5 of those standard Nick Fury sketches on backboards in Dallas and they were $100 each, every other sketch he had was over $1000. He wasn't sketching at the show at all, and had a line for signs most of the show.
  4. My guess is that this is just not very sought after stories and the creators aren't exactly huge name mainstream guys.
  5. There is also a great facebook page for Sketch Prices
  6. I know Cadence is pretty established but I was hoping someone here could help or provide me a phone number. I bought a cover at the end of December. and still haven't received it I emailed them the first week in January and they said it had been shipped, and that he would getting me the shipping info later, and he never did. Since then, I have emailed him twice to follow up without a response. I don't want to cancel the paypal because I actually want to art. Don't know what to do next?!?
  7. I think Scott's Collectables in Europe does a lot for him. He rarely comes to USA.
  8. Where in the world was Hardy signing?
  9. After several years of trying to get a 9.8 Rocky Horror book for Tim Curry I finally gave up and got this book signed. Great cover and one of the more iconic Curry roles. Glad to finally have a 9.8 Curry book.
  10. Just got this one back from the framer. Captain Marvel 6 Captain America tribute variant by Pascual Ferry. Really happy with the way it turned out.
  11. I recently got this commissioned sketch through http://www.artcoholics.net/ for $200. I highly recommend them. Sketch only took 3 weeks to get finished and delivered Spain. They have some published art on the website at fairly reasonable prices
  12. Dork Buzz did my Terry Moore books at the last Dallas show. They were really easy to deal with. I would recommend them.
  13. Clive Barker and John Bolton Clive Barker (I think CGC missed that this was the virgin variant) Clive Barker again Keir Dullea and Gary Lockwood with some great 2001 quotes!
  14. A few new ones Triston helped with. Tried to get a Jessica Rabbit quote....but no luck
  15. Another weird thing...many of the covers have sketches dated from 2015.
  16. Is anyone else underwhelmed by this year's Hero Initiative 100 books? I typically love these books. I thought the Wonder Woman books from last year were great, but this year they are awful. Adventure Time, while a great show, is a pretty crappy (and limited) subject matter for art and really only appeals to a very limited audience. Plus they didn't seem to get as many big name artist this year, and frankly, many of the artist just phoned in their covers. If your goal is a raise as much money as possible why wouldn't you do Marvel or DC books every year that have a much broader appeal and long term collectablity? For instance, the Jeff Brown book, which I thought was one of the better covers from a fairly well known child's book artist, only sold for $266, while his WW cover from last sold for $400 without the help of eBay. Rant over.
  17. The times I've seen him the lines were "longish" but not like Stan Lee. He does take time with each fan which is nice. I would guess I waited less than 30 mins each time. I do think he charges a small fee (maybe $5 or soemthing) to sign non-CGC books. CGC books are more.
  18. I think the forums died down a bit because a lot of collectors just moved to Facebook groups or Instagram because it is easier there, especially for mobile users. I mean up until they re-did the forums a year or so ago they were almost unuseable by mobile device.
  19. Too many people getting BTTF books signed so I had to do something a bit different.
  20. Just for fun, here is the best Wolverine sketch I own. Blows the Finch out of the water. No one steal this idea! No one can ever top this.
