  1. Yoshi, would you say that the shows have a good amount of Transformers comics for sale? I know that the toys will be there, but I'm looking for some books. I know with the artists there, I should be able to find some.
  2. TFCon Anyone ever go to this? It's about a 5 hour drive but I don't know much about the show.
  3. Some are. As far as RI covers that you can flip for decent prices. I would go with the Spotlight Orion Pax RI, Spotlight Metroplex RI, More than Meets the Eye #1 RI-B, 12 RI, 19 RI, and 26 RI, Robots in Disguise #1 RI-B, 12 RI, and Till All Are One #1 RI-B seem to be the regular RIs that you can get the most for. #22 RI from the 2009 series is the pinnacle of TF books since that SOB is a pain in nuts to find.
  4. More than Meets the Eye #43 Texas Comic Con edition that was never distributed at the TCC. Spotlight Orion Pax RI Drift #4 Central Canada Comic Con variant Transformers #22 RI (2009 ongoing series) I'm sure there are others if anyone else can think of any. By any odd chance, is the store Giant Robot Comics?
  5. I'd price gouge the heck out of that book if I had an extra.
  6. True. IDW requires a 1,000 minimum order for exclusive covers.
  7. I haven't seen one of those books in quite a while. I remember one maybe less than a year go going for over a hundred but I can't find the listing to confirm. I would say $100 minimum just because the next one that goes up for sale will most likely be the only one for sale, so it's pretty much a seller's market for the book. You may be able to snag one for cheap though if a graded copy pops up on Comic Link or one of the other auction sites.
  8. I totally agree on the overpriced part. The graded 9.0 was a bogus grade. I've seen that book in person and it should be a 9.4 at the lowest. The new one that is listed needs some shots of the back cover. Like you said earlier, the front cover is forgiving to creases, but it won't mean anything if the back has color breaks.
  9. Thanks for the help....I was actually able to get this done this weekend at FanFest. Awesome sketch. Seriously awesome.
  10. I'm surprised that I have never seen these floating around for sale. I've been hunting that one for a while now.
  11. I am enjoying Till All Are One. Issue 3 should arrive today for me. I have a spare of the 1:25 for #1 because I didn't know if my pull service would set one aside for me. But, they did and Midtown sent one to me as well. I've been holding out to see how the market treats them. Most of the ones I sell are because I have extras, or I was upgrading an existing copy for a higher grade. I have my pull service set up for the Optimus Prime series as well. Lost Light isn't an option yet, but I'll set that up when it is. I'm sitting out on the Revolution storyline. I try to avoid the mandatory Hasbro storylines in favor of actual compelling storylines. If I need to, I'll just read the plot synopsis on tfwiki. I have a comic show in a few weeks, so maybe I can fill some holes in the variant game.
  12. Till All are One CGC 9.8 I was going to post this one up too. The Till All Are One 1:25 is fetching some solid prices right now. Maybe I should part with mine.
  13. Here is a link to the 22RI http://tfwiki.net/wiki/File:Transformersissue22-CoverR1.jpg Welcome to the thread!
  14. Thanks, fellas. It was just surprising that it was available, especially for that low of a price. All that I have seen were well over $125. Now if I can find #9 Auto Assembly, #22RI and Orion Pax RI, I'll be good to go.
  15. http://www.grahamcrackers.com/products/transformers_more_than_meets_the_eye_19_incentive_cover.htm Got an email that a MTMTE 19RI showed up for $20. Needless to say, I bought it. We'll see how it looks. Advertised as a VF/NM. Sometimes these guys can be a little hit and miss on the grades.
  16. I guess some got out. I would pay that much for a 22RI, but not a book that there are supposedly 1000 copies of. I know that reading the TCC page on Facebook there were a bunch of people griping about not getting the cover even though it was part of a registration package for the show. I'll see if I can find more out about it, but it seems shady to me.
  17. Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/182214461099 Anyone ever see one of these? My impression based off of the Texas Comic Con Facebook page was that the books never made it to production.
  18. Thanks for the heads up about the reading order. Is it on the creative teams for not finishing the books in time or IDW for not producing/releasing in order? I picked up a Death of Prime RIB for $8 about 18 months ago. Probably a 9.4 were I to send it in.
