  1. I don’t have the two earlier issues but I’ve always loved 10 for the awesome robot splash in the Federal Men story. I sold my copy in 1991 and have regretted it ever since.
  2. Absolutely shocked, since I was gunning for this one until it got crazy in the last few minutes. Each of the 3 New Comics that they had finished higher than the previous one (9 at $925, 7 at $1255, then this one).
  3. Here’s one of my Adventure 37’s, currently tied with another for highest graded in the census.
  4. A couple of these appear earlier in this thread since they were acquired from th boardies that posted them. One of the pair of Adventure 37s has since been slabbed and was the first 6.5 graded at CGC (another 6.5 has since been graded as well).
  5. I was having the same problem. It was only yesterday when I realized that if you click “watch list” on the item in an individual window, it doesn’t save it. It only saves it (for me anyway) when I add to the watchlist from a search page or the main auction list.
  6. Less than 10 unrestored copies COMBINED for these two beauties. New Comics #2 has 5 unrestored copies and the highest graded is a 2.0; #3 has 4 unrestored copies.
  7. Wow! Wonderworld 7 NEVER comes up for sale.
  8. It strikes me as being a total vanity project and looks ridiculous next to all of the other amazing books in the collection. It diminishes, rather than enhances it. Just my 2 cents, though.
  9. But Ian’s collection doesn’t have a real Double Action #1 either, unless the current owner bought it when it came up for sale a couple of years ago at Metro.
  10. Tom Feelings original art from Mr. Mystery #14:
  11. The fake Double Action 1, anyway. The real one was sold by Metro and looks nothing like this one, lol.
  12. Thanks! That’s from Hello Pal #1 (1943) and is by Charles Sultan. Here’s the whole page:
  13. Does anyone have a copy of the complete list? More specifically, is a copy of Double Action Comics 2 included in the collection?
