    At NYCC they talked about how Azzarello flew out monthly for the two of them to work on story together. That said, Frank made several comments indicating this is Brian's story and he's been a "consultant" on it - he said at one point he's "excited to read it," which doesn't sound like the comment of an author. I think you might be right - DC has really wanted it clear this is his project about which they've talked on and off for several years - his world, the third chapter of his story. His personal comments about it didn't seem to fit with that kind of ownership unless he's being incredibly humble and wanting to shine light on his partners. The recent Didio/Lee Youtube video didn't make it sound like Miller did a whole lot on it, but the NYCC talk solidifies my thinking that Miller did close to nothing on the book besides some attaboys.

    I think that fans are over-estimating how much Miller did on this series. I'm betting not much more than putting his name on the front cover.

    I love those covers. Too bad black wasn't used instead of red. But I'm sure it was for visibility on the newstand, like the tons of red and yellow GA books that were created at the time.

    If you are looking for extreme rarity, GA DCs won't satisfy that need for long, with the exception of a handful of very expensive books. They are certainly tougher to locate in high grade, unrestored, etc., and more scarce than SA Marvels and DCs, but you'll soon find that the only thing limiting your search will be your wallet.

    That was a pretty good buy on that book, I thought it might go a bit higher. Congratulations - a tough book above 4.0. I second that about the rarity above 4.0. My ~3.0 copy looks like pretty much every copy I've seen of this book.

    It's possible that an Iger House (Iger/Eisner) artist could be in top 5 or 10 most covers in the GA. Fiction House, Superior, and Ajax/Farrell constitute a lot of books. It would be impossible to prove, though, based on the lack of documentation.
