  1. Picked up several sets from Mason and am very pleased with everything---the price, grades and packaging were all excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again and will certainly be looking for his next sales thread!
  2. I agree that the buyer must be a bit of a rookie to not know the difference b/w a 9.4 and a 9.8/9.9.....so that absolutely absolves the seller from everything, correct? So, in this case, the seller is a total rookie too? You cannot honestly, with a straight face, tell me that someone listing books as 9.8-9.9 and doesn't know the difference between that and a 9.4 is on the level. Disingenuous at best here.
  3. You guys are actually defending someone who lists books as 9.9 and they come back from ANY grading company far less than that? WTF? Are there different grading techniques for 9.9's that swing it so far out of whack? Then, this seller begins to hound and basically stalk a buyer who leaves a neutral feedback based on his crappy grading? Seriously? Wow.... am I out of whack with what is reasonable.
  4. I don't know if this is really "blocked list" worthy---it's an interesting story for sure...and I'll bet a frustrating one where someone ultra-low-balled you, but mass-blocking them seems like overkill on the crime.
  5. Bought a nice stack of books from Sean and I am quite happy. They were all well priced, graded and arrived nice and safe---I wouldn't hesitate to do another transaction with him!
  6. I like a lot of DC titles...but their movie franchise is horribly disjointed from their print media. Here's to hoping the Titans movie is watchable!
  7. As far as I know, the first title that was to be printed under the "Black Label" was Batman White Knight. It's not cannon, but also not a mature theme. Those covers were premium stock though...and for regular cover price. I think DC then transformed that into the "Black Label" imprint and wanted to go with the prestige format and mature theme on future releases. Unfortunately, it appears that DC has flipped (or is it flopped) once again and wants to change things up again. IE future printings of Batman Damned will be censored....no wait, there will be no second printings.....wait....let's hold off on #2 of the series as well. Ok...let's push back #3 too. Confusion, more confusion, poor commitment to a new launch, terrible communication, lack of strategic coherency, big changes for strange reasons....did I mention confusion? Yep....and people wonder why their movie franchise smells like hot garbage.
  8. I think they are planning on cashing in on the TPB issues....
  9. Bought several CGC slabs from Kevin and they arrived very quickly and were very well packed! I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again; in fact, I'm looking forward to it! Thanks again Kevin!!
  10. I don't like the new shipping page either and I simply revert back to the old in every transaction (until they remove that option). I don't like the managed payments as they want your bank account info....and I just think that's unnecessary in today's age. I want the absolute minimum of any sensitive details out "there" as possible.
  11. This mot recent change has me the most scared; "Managed Payments". ...or basically, trying to get rid of Paypal so that eBay gets ALL of the fees generated from any transaction.
