  1. Escorza Bros. Looking forward to Ronin 2. The brothers will be back to doing the interiors.
  2. Rob is worth it in my opinion. He created the characters and is an icon from that Marvel Era, also was one of the original founding members of Image. Clayton Crain on the other hand is smoking something thinking I would ever pay his cost for his lame sigs
  3. Is this an example of "imaging"? I did not know they added pics of our books now. Is this free?
  4. Ya I really enjoy CGC but the turnaround time's have to get better. This is just not acceptable.
  5. Super sucks how the Bay Area never gets in love from CGC and some of the comic creators like Eastman and Laird.
  6. I was wondering this too. Hopefully CGC shows up or has someone to facilitate.
  7. I agree 💯 This is a fresh new take. Me and the kids really enjoyed it. I also think Ice Cube did great as Superfly, it was probably my favorite character in the movie. I like most, am still hoping one day way get a Mirage style animated movie. Probably won’t happen but one can hope. The Last Ronin would be nice too. And hopefully they target the OG TMNT fan base.
  8. Wow is that original artwork? That is freaking amazing! 😍
  9. I'm not a fan of that second print cover A. Good idea bad execution. The face looks weird and he forgot the auto-bot logo on the chest. Cover B is just terrible Really Like the first print 1/100 and the SDCC exclusive as well. Loved Jetfire as a kid, so might just have to track one of those copy's down once prices come down a bit. So far just picked up the sketch cover blank #1 from my LCS. Hoping to get someone to sketch something cool for me preferably a Jetfire. We shall see.
  10. Took a shot in the dark a few years ago on ebay on a raw MS#5. Got it for a steal in my opinion. Graded it and it came back a 3.5 to my surprise. Presents very nice just like yours. Love the book, definitely one of my favs in my collection. That cover is just so classic!
  11. Tell me about it...it was getting so frustrating I was beginning to lose hope. Especially since I couldn't get any info or time table along the way. But its here and must say I love it and the new cases are pretty good. They are a bit thicker but feel pretty tough.
  12. Just came back from CGC after almost a year wait!
  13. I dont know why but I'm starting to like this cover more than the first issue, and this might be the coolest CGC signature series example I have seen. You got Beatty, Zeck, remark and the 9.8! Dont see that every day. Beautiful book!
  14. I'm pretty sure this happens a lot. I know I almost forgot this step on a number of times I would think its an easy fix for them, maybe just annoys them for the extra work. I would bet you are good to go.
  15. He's actually a pretty chill and funny dude and a lot of the stuff he says is on point. He is really just mis-understood most the time, and some people take his comments way to personal.
  16. Yup. Leifeld, Lee, Mcfarlane, Silvestri, Valentino, etc. all had their pros and cons, but we cannot deny that they all played a huge roll in the 90's comic scene. Love them or hate them all legends in my book and obviously all had a roll in starting Image, something that forever changed the comic industry.
  17. Speak for yourself. A fraction of Lee's talent? come on man... again I dont get all this talk of Lee being so great, but you don't seem to like Rob so I guess different strokes for different folks. Personally, I enjoyed Rob's artwork and characters much more over the years.
  18. Well you know what I mean...more accurate. Liefeld was more exaggerated, but much more cool looking
  19. Agreed. He is not the most technical artist, and I will agree Lee is for sure the more precise artist when it comes to anatomy, but when I was buying comics in the 90's...perfect anatomy was not what I was looking for. Just some awesome flashy artwork with big guns and explosions Leifeld definitely had the more entertaining and visually pleasing art for me. I think a lot of us can agree hence why he sold millions of comics back then. Something about his style that just drew people in.
