Recently watched the show and love it! Cant wait for the next season! Never even knew about the book till I watched the show. Now I will keep my eyes peeled to pick up some of the back issues. In the mean time I need to track down some collected editions to read.

Ya if its not a published piece then it pretty much comes down to how bad somebody wants it and how deep their pockets are. Obviously, how many comparable un-published Jim Lee pieces there are out in the wild will factor in how hard someone will go in on a piece like this.

Checked today and my book has made it to Quality Control/Finalized. I hope this last step is not another couple weeks.

Picked this one up 3 years ago for $200. Came back a CGC 3.5. I’m just happy to be in the club!

Anyone get books back yet?

Well here she is back from CBCS! No CGC witnesses at the show, that was a bummer! ReedPop was so terrible…I asked about authentication and they had no info. They didn’t even know CBCS was in the building. I could of had it witnessed by them. They also mentioned their own authentication sticker when I purchased the autograph ticket online, well that turned out to be not true. They basically handed your item back after Ewan signed it, and gave you no sort of proof. They didn’t even allow you to take your own pics. So walking around the show floor I discovered CBCS and decided to go with them for grading and signature authentication. Lets just say it was a fast, smooth, and overall good experience. I love the finished piece! It’s definitely one of my more special pieces in my Star Wars collection.

Just got back from Cele. Was only able to get 1 sig but its a big one. Got Ewan McGregor on the new Obi Wan #1 photo variant cover. The system there was terrible. No CGC available. They did'nt even provide authentication for the item after it was signed. Just handed back your item and sent you on your way. CBCS was there and they don't even tell you that. I discovered them as I was walking through the show floor vendor area. I dropped off my book with them to get slabbed. The guy said I will not get the witnessed label but they will authenticate the signature. Honestly, it does not matter to me because this book isn't going anywhere. I will post it here is soon as I get it back. Cant wait!

Hello everyone, big Star Wars fan here. Looking to add some sigs to my comic book collection. Got a couple questions, what type of sharpie is preferred for sigs? Are paint pens like silver and white a good thing or should I stick to the standard black or blue sharpie? Also, any pens of colors I should stay away from that can fade over time? Thanks in advance for any help! I will post my books here as I get them done.

Me personally I would take a Walking Dead all day long. Just more of a iconic book to me. UF I think will fizzle out at some point...kind of like New Mutants 98. Bottom line is he will never replace the original Spiderman and also I think there is plenty of copies out there floating around. I know some people that have stacks of this book. The variant is really cool though and should hold up since its the more rare version. Miles is an awesome character, but If Deadpool and Carnage cooled off a bit then I can definitely see the Miles hype cooling off.

So I forgot to add the initials to the side of my box for the George Perez signing. Does anyone know how important this is? Based on how backed up CGC is when it comes to opening packages, does this mean I will miss out? I really am bummed out about this. I tried to follow all the steps and some how forgot the last one. I wonder how common this is.

So the special label option did not come up when I submitted my book to CGC for the Ronin Signing. Can this still be added on? I submitted an email to CGC, I really hope they can make this happen. It must have been a glitch because it did not come up when I submitted.
