  1. I loved your Robots thread almost as much as I love Raze's thread ("almost" being a word for which I invented my own definition).
  2. Reptiles once educated me on folly of buying sight unseen - but once you get to the high-end grades, what else would there be to complain about but the wrap? A year ago when I whined to one particular reptile I was advised to get over it (my OCD-like avoidance of the white stripe of ). But then some habits die hard, especially when buying slabs mainly out of self indulgence. Oh, and reptiles = a more polite or sophisticated name for lizards. And, bump. Good thread. : )
  3. Compressed Gets Confabulation or Compression Gives Cashification
  4. Right on, thanks for reminder - my choices are the FF 236 and the remaining Comic Reader. I had most of those back in the day, should be fun.
  5. Amazing Adventures 3 in 9.2 49 [what has the world come to when Colan/Everett art gets called out, but Kirby art in the other feature goes unmentioned? Heh, just messing with you.] Captain America 108 in 9.4 95 Daredevil 83 in 9.2 49 Fantastic Four 94 in 9.2 99 X-Men 60 in 9.0 189 I'll take these five, except, not if the cover has a mis-wrap that shows white down the spine (back cover wrapped over onto front), then I don't want to take it (those). I'm ok if there's a bit of miswrap the other way (front rolls over to back).
  6. you get to claim one more While this thread has all manner of awesomeness in it, I find it unnerving that you must coerce people to buy DCs through the offering of Marvel freebies. ; )
  7. Thanks man. I'll take the TRUE BELIEVERS: Thanos and Dr. Doom (IM 55 and FF 5). Will stop at 2 for now and give others a chance to pick a few, cool freebies. : )
  8. Those are cool war books! I'll "take" all the dinosaur cover war books not already taken, if any.
  9. I first learned of Al you'll put an eye out Feldstein thanks to Rick.
  10. I was going to assert "I approve." But I figured the board had some protection technology that didn't allow first-day noobs to post pics, no matter when they first created the account.
  11. Hey bud, it's exactly this Title (under Batman, starting with "T" for the) "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns". Mine's the prior year to yours, and after failing with "D" for Dark Knight, "T" for the Dk Knight, and then D under Batman (Dark Knight) I scored - four times the charm. And double-check your cap lock key, that could be throwing you off. ; )
