  1. Experienced amateur not expert, but my vote is NO press, NO slab, and imo grade would be around right in the middle, VGF 5.0. Maybe a 5.5 as is, and probably the back could be cleaned up and pressed into no nicer than a sold FN 6.0., but maybe not with that long crease back cover along spine and front wear at the open edge. Plus the top's cut off so that's a mystery area.
  2. Quick pay, clear communication, really made the transaction very easy on a couple of nice Marvel comics. Thank you Keith! Just let me know if any problems and I'll take care of you. Greg
  3. Yeah, just messing around, I grew up reading in the late 70s early 80s too, and whenever I see the kewpie doll Janet I picture this one -
  4. You didn't hear it from me, but I think the Stasi disappeared his 'did I do something wrong' thread but the others are probably still around. A lot of folks liked the ap (if not the disingenuous method of self-promotion), and I think the dude was rightfully proud of the results of all his hard work.
  5. ^I think it means inherited it, as opposed to just being a freelance pre vert. So, strong women don't threaten you?
  6. I'll let you off the hook, R, you couldn't see the price so you might have missed my notes and I know you want raw unpressed, generally. This one could've been pressed, not sure. NOTES FROM X-MEN 94 that you might have missed: Could've been pressed, but if so by a pro. Pretty book, light wear around perimeter (corners and edges).
  7. Started it off at $240 but quickly adjusted price to $225. Apparently on some browsers or devices the prices have mysteriously been moved to the side of pic, below pic, or are just invisible. I later fixed the formatting (using MS word instead of excel) to prevent the floating cell problem. You ship free, amigo.
  8. He's gotta be talking about the renumbering, right? Not McSpidey, but probably the ASM 1 (1999, vol. 2), could even be the 2014s. I know, the Vol 2 is marked halfway down the list, but lists can easily be mangled with re-formats.
  9. Sweet book, whatever grade. Agree with you at 1.8, but wouldn't be surprised at 2.0, after all, CGC is pretty consistent with 'bumps.'
  10. 1 minute ago, grebal said: Better off Dead, but no freebie needed, just a trivia fan. Geez, I can't even win when I'm trying not to win.
  11. Love your ASM 33 homage avatar. Boardie Rick's Neat Stuff is among the few top resident experts on Peanuts, if you say his name three times absolutely nothing will probably happen, but it couldn't hurt. He's actually sold some amazing golden age funny books to fund his peanut addiction.
  12. And I'll end the thread w/not a bang but a wimper: "Him" NM-, and "Her" FN- $15 Bafflingly I bought the 2 in 1 (major fold top rt and back top left crease) during one of those three days when it was hot for $5 more than price of the pair here today. The reprint copy is pretty sweet newsstand fresh, sometimes called the 'stridex' version for obvious reasons, if lucky you can see sellers scam on ebay with them like the sellers with "GRRs" that leave it to shoppers to notice some buried fine print. Please don't do that with this copy. The Marvel 2 in 1 #61 has some ncb folds on front cover, visible in the angled glare pics.
  13. ^ You're very welcome, and thank you, sir. = = = = = = = = = == = = == = = = = = = SOLD DC 3-pack minor keys … mixed grades $19 My best prediction of CGC grade: 3.5, 4.5 and 6.5, on the Huntress, Lobo and Death of Wonderboy. $10 each for the more 'important' ones and minus 1 for the Omega Men.
  14. Omega 1 …. 6.5 2 bk lot $8 Just bits of light wear structurally, and moderate surface wear, a two-book lot including the next Champions 1 since both are perhaps $5 ea or lower and that was my break-off. Champions 1 …. 5.0 $0 FN+ and quite fresh, but ink transfer on front (see the word bubble, not a pretty defect) back Champions first
  15. SOLD Silver Surfer 16 …. 5.0 $12 A very fine with mean tape pull on S. What possessed me to buy this last year as a 9.2 w/tape pull for $20 escapes me.
  16. Doctor Strange four-book lot $22 171 5.0 (but moisture stains on back cover and last page), 179 4.0 (major creases top rt and bottom), 182 6.0 because tr corner o/w closer to VF, 183 4.5
  17. SOLD Avengers Ann 7 …. 3.0 $10 Lotsa major creases. I've seen others with that slight fade in colors at right side, some with both dark, and others with both sides lighter tones. But maybe it's fading not printers' fault. NB: I’ve heard tell that this will be the next AF15, heh.
  18. Ok, two at a time is more likely to create problem than help, sorry. SOLD Spider Woman 1 …. 8.0 $6 Just light signs of surface wear. Tiny dogear top rt.
  19. I'll try two at a time to speed things up. SOLD Shogun 1 …. 9.4 $10 Minty fresh. SOLD Red Sonja 1 …. 9.0 $8 Minty fresh, but light wear at two bottom corners.
  20. Thanks Robert. Not much chance I'll ever match your wonderful grader's notes, but I appreciate the kind words. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTE TO YOU ALL: Thanks to everyone so far, this has been some good fun. Considered not listing this last batch of add-ons, just bypassing the thread and going directly to another place I sell, but it’s worth a few minutes of my time to avoid disappointing a few of you guys. Nothing that special ahead but some nice items. But I do plan to skip the quite ordinary bronze Spideys and silver SSs unless anyone says post ‘em, or something similar: have the Spideys in four-book lots at about the $4-5/bk. range, and the Surfers $20/ea. for the 5 squarebounds (no #1 or 4) in 3.5-6.0 with three of them inlcuding the ‘key’ having signs of moisture damage, and the final 11 at around $16 ea. in 5.0 to 8.0 (only one of each of those grades, the rest mostly strong FNs) – and the Surfer lots would be priced 10% less than above since didn’t reduce yet.
