Is anyone in the Knoxville TN area to check this out? Listing says the 500 or so comics will be sold in a single lot

The suggestions here are better - but this is the actual source most likely…. My son had a Marvel wallet and it came in a box similar to this. I found this one on eBay, not the exact same but had to be where this is from.

Just a heads up that I went to Heroes on Sunday only and wore a mask the whole time, but ending up testing positive for Covid yesterday. Not sure if I picked it up there or somewhere else. I barely have any symptoms - just a scratchy throat - but if you are feeling a little off, it might be worth using an at home tests if you have one.
Looking forward to next year as the convention lived up to its billing!- Robot Man and WolverineX

I’m planning for one day as well. Are single day tickets only available on the day of convention? I didn’t see a pre-sale option for one day. Any tips on how early to get there? Just moved to Charlotte and looking forward to a new convention after going to C2E2 for years in Chicago.
For those only going one day - I still see no advance one day ticket, what do you suggest for smoothest entry? Get there an hour early, get in line & there will be tickets to purchase with cash at the door?

Panel schedule is up. Best thing on Sunday would be Claremont and Simonson talking Xmen. Roy Thomas or Jim Starlin on Saturday should be good too.

Thanks for sharing the pictures! We skipped it after going the last five years or so. How were the crowds? From the videos and pictures I’ve seen, it looks like it wasn’t as packed as usual.

1 year and 30 days to go!I guess we will have to wait a little longer for the next C2E2. A pre-Christmas comic con? Sounds good to me!

This posting showed up on local estate sale site with only one picture of comics and note that they would take bids via email, and could provide a list of books. I responded and got the list also attached. I didn’t make a bid, figuring the Loki and Morbius books would be out of my budget.
On Sunday I got an email saying the winning bid was $3,700 - which surprised me. Maybe the buyer got a chance to look at books to assess their condition, but does this sound like a win for the buyer or seller? I’m thinking the seller is likely pretty happy with the outcome.

Count me in for an update on this sale and if they are still in limbo...

Full panel schedule is out! Since I’m only going on Saturday, I was hoping The Boys panel would be that day - but unfortunately it’s on Sunday along with Matt Smith. Guess that makes more time for looking at comics!

Funny that this story made the rounds earlier this week. Maybe that helped? https://geektyrant.com/news/marvel-reportedly-developing-a-silver-surfer-movie

44 bids! Someone is kicking themselves that they missed out on this "masterpiece" with their $250 bid when they should be thanking their lucky stars!

I can do both. I’m arriving Saturday! No more recommendations? Edinburgh? Southern Ireland?
What did you find on your trip? I’m heading to Ireland tonight for a week in Dublin, Galway and Belfast (mostly). Would like to find some of the She-Ra UK books from early eighties along the way...

I was in the same spot a month ago, with The Walking Dead being the only title I still buy regularly. Kirkman took care of that problem for me...
maybe the fact that we are only pulling one book a month has something to do with the demise of our LCS. I have a couple others within a 20 min drive, but I hope a new one opens in town that I will try to shop at more than the old one.

Man, this film has definitely found some hills to climb.
This has me more interested in the movie than I would have been otherwise. J Soloway wrote some great episodes for Six Feet Under and I am a fan of Transparent too, so I’d check this out if it actually happens.

Is free parking an option for this if you park at the new mall / Fashion Outlets?

I recently bought four slabs from John and the sale went great. Easy to deal with and the shipment packaging was top shelf!
strong recommendation if you are considering working with ADAMANTIUM!
