Some sketch covers I've gotten back within the last few months. Tristan Thompson - Anna from Frozen Dave Aikins - M.E.W Huntress Omar Dogan - Karin Kanzuki from Street Fighter Super lucky to have gotten one of his sketch covers, since he doesn't take commissions, unless he releases a batch of sketch cards. Greg Land - DC Bombshells Huntress

I was perplexed at first too, but I'm pretty sure it means "Signed through the mail."
-
I hope you get it soon. For reference I got both my orders already; an In-House signing order from April, and a single standard tier signature book sent in 9/2022 through a facilitator. So it should be soon. 🤞

What's your progress on 2022 CGC signings?

I just got this back on 4/28, it was at CGC for a bit over a year. What a wild ride. -
CGC Announces Price and Policy Changes
austinhg replied to ThatNerdyCanuck's topic in Comics General
I'm glad magazine tiers are getting cheaper, especially with the mess that's been the move to the new magazine holders. Not thrilled with the significant increase in Signature Series prices over the years, but I've changed my grading submissions to reflect the changes over the past year anyway. Early Facebook comments show that flippers are mad, and for that I don't care. -
As long as you properly labeled the box you sent in for the signing, it should be pulled and set aside for the designated in house signing. That being said, CGC has recently changed their magazine holders to be more like the current CGC comic size cases, so I wouldn't be surprised if you don't have a year+ long backlog of other magazines ahead of you when your magazines hit grading. For example, I submitted some magazines to an in-house signing last May, and they're still in "Grading / Encapsulation / Imaging". Your milage may vary, and by the time the signing happens, the backlog could be severely reduced.

Looking at the CGC Census, it appears that there aren't any graded copies of issue 83 and that's probably why you aren't finding it in the drop down. You'll most likely need to manually add the information. If you've measured it, and it's a standard comic size, then you should be good to go with submitting it as a comic. According to their website:

Facilitator for Planet Comic-Con or C2E2 - NON CGC Eastman Sigs
austinhg replied to Ryan.'s topic in SigSeries Event Central
It seems most facilitators are attending MegaCon the same weekend as C2E2. I'm also interested in sending in books for C2E2 as well, if anyone knows of a facilitator attending. -
This is awesome! I was rewatching the original Stargate movie last night, thinking it would be cool to get one of those original movie poster comics signed by Kurt Russell.
-
Amazing piece! I asked Fernando if he would be willing to do this again with Rodrigo, and he wasn't sure. Hopefully InkInk gets them to work together again, because they all turned out great.
-
I asked because a very trustworthy CGC facilitator works closely with Galaxycon at both their shows and mail-in signings. And I don't believe they would work with a company who would be in the business of selling fake autographs. (Plus Galaxycon have posted videos of celebrities they have at their shows signing for mail away orders.) I've used Galaxycon for both CGC signature series books and signed photos with no problems, personally.

Will there be another signing with Frank Miller in 2023?
austinhg replied to KOJAG's topic in SigSeries Event Central
Agents of Slabs is accepting send-ins for a Miller signing in February. They've got information on the signing on their Instagram, but not their website. https://www.instagram.com/agentsofslabs/ -
If you don't have a form on you, I'd suggest trying to take a few extras when you're at the show for the future. You can also try to contact CGC and see if they'll send you some, but I've never had any luck getting CGC to send me signature series forms.

What's your progress on 2022 CGC signings?
austinhg replied to woznia17's topic in The Signature Room
This went into Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging back on 10/18/22. However, with the news of new magazine holders, it's looking like at least until February to see some movement on this book or any other in house signing magazines. -
Well, at least I know I can expect some of my magazines back (hopefully) soon. If I knew this at the beginning of December I would have submitted more books for signature series at a convention.

This is awesome -- I love the background!

Any Facilitators going to German Comic Con
austinhg replied to Thedarkspider's topic in SigSeries Event Central
You may have tried too early, they just announced they have a signing with Charlie Cox. I'd reach out again. Hopefully they add more people from the con, the guest list looks great! -
Hopefully someone will be doing send ins - there are a few books I'd love signed and submitted after just looking at the guest list.

What's your progress on 2022 CGC signings?
austinhg replied to woznia17's topic in The Signature Room
Steinfeld magazine submission Received (at CGC from CCS): 5/18/2022 Scheduled for grading: 5/18/2022 I have a feeling like this isn't using their expedited system, and instead their regular magazine pipeline... which means I'll get it back sometime next year? -
The work she does with just a ballpoint pen is so good. Congrats on this one!
