  1. Mine has a bad corner bend that would press to 7.5, but on top of that mid spine is a crinkle that drops it to 5.5. really I'm surprised that it did that well with no board. Idk how xforce 1 ever made it 😂 but it was probably novelty at best. Still a cool adventure to have it delivered!
  2. Whenever they sort it out, as I assume this is new, but not the 1st post about it. I'm sure you'll keep us posted
  3. Ya I've had coffee, I may seem short, but I just was curious if it was a "thing" No worries If they do notice these as new after encapsulation can you at least provide info? As I see divots in case or I've heard of scratches and other ephemera, but none of those seem to be over kill. Older slabs had different defects that just weren't "complained about". It seems with the new case transition everything is critical, but it is also good or better in a lot of ways. Like the older case was cloudy or gets dense, but compared to the first generation slab looked the same or better. I wasn't trying to be critical, just the info to weigh the results
  4. Lol perfect! I figured the boards are somewhat slow to post sometimes, but free is free, glad someone found it humorous! It was in a bag without a board, so while beat, not as beat as expected. But pretty beat. It was fun and I thought it was an interesting thing though, I guess. Story is kind of lame haha
  5. "Checked for spots" ? Is this new? I haven't ever heard of "spots" being caused, so is it an "effect?" Or actual "soiling?" Could you elaborate on "spots" and why you check for them? I wouldn't have known to check for those upon receiving
  6. I'm not trying to push as it will be ultimately up to cgc, but when you underlined the soiling, I can notice most of the same dots in the blue areas of the raw scan. Just fyi, but I hope you find resolution
  7. Yes that's helpful or at least something cause cgc Mike has to show proof or evidence. I actually see the X-Men 100 marks on the raw comic,.but the newton rings aren't severe; that said, they seem to come back clear nowadays... Rather than the oily representation. So I wonder if cgc sees this as some improvement?
  8. Well I didn't know if I should open it like xforce 1 hahaha I'm rich!
  9. In America there is a restaurant called jack in the box, Mark Hamill first job was at this restaurant. He had been doing advertising with them telling about this and they published a one off comic to promote the "advertising " So it's a comic in the bag! They offered it for free with free shipping, no purchase required. I only ordered 1, but others ordered 5, so I went back and ordered 4 more. That said, everyone's order of 5 got canceled, including my order of 4, but my original order of only 1 never got canceled. I still would have enjoyed more than one
  10. The free Star Wars Mark Hamill Jack in the box comic came today!?! Thanks to whomever posted the link at the time. Curious if anyone thought that I should leave it unopened? It's just in a bag as pictured, not board, so any "value" might be in the package haha. I'm sure it's novelty at best, but the package is a bag and somewhat survived.
  11. CGC graded them at 9.8 and I sent back as ME and CGC regraded the books, that they damaged, at 9.4 It's worth noting that "ME" stands for mechanical errors, because it was a 9.8 prescreen, which means they were only supposed to be 9.8's that got encapsulated or slabbed. The fact they sent back a "9.6" in a slab constitutes the "error"
  12. Nice looking reds! That stands out. I always preferred "duck" dodgers 😂 Looney tunes can spoil a kid haha
  13. Ah no worries, same issue we're discussing is the main thing. Book went nowhere it would seem, but at $150 at release I don't feel as bad, except empathy in relating to the dismal results across all covers now apparently. Really drags to be inundated with excitement about Last Ronin and to want to enjoy some of the excitement, just I got to remember it's not universal But ya I wasn't flipping, I've kept all my last Ronin too, is just nice to see others spec turn out nice. I don't often go for anniversary issues or whatever #200 was, but I think if your into it, it needs to be a long hold regardless, imo. Still the road should be less traveled and less going off then rails! Crazy Train haha
  14. If it's the one that was a Campbell at 1:50 or something, I too bought it when it came out. The 1:100 was what jock? As the artist? Those never took off to my knowledge other than pricing upon release it seemed, I bought that Campbell for like $50 It was around the time of last ronin so I was in the mood to try, but that's the last cause I tried as well
  15. See this auction of Sept 9th ASM #194 shows bid of $40, but when you look at 130point.com it shows best offer was accepted at $80. That is the closest proof I could come up with, and I'm still not sure @THE_BEYONDER so I don't want to misspeak. The fact that it took this long for someone else to confirm
  16. no he is asking too!!?! same as you, but I didn't have "proof" I tried to look up aucitons sold with best offer, problem is that when "an offer is accepted", it shows a bid under sold, so I wasn't sure
