  1. @Namtak hope you're doing alright?! I won this in a contest
  2. welcome to the boards!! I vaguely remember @F For Fake pointing out this book for auction a year or so ago, if not forgive me and at least it is easy on the eyes!
  3. As long as you ship to the address ebay gives you as proof of delivery, I would think it is OK or they'd side in your favor.....
  4. Some CGC contest giveaways. The Funko pops are fun, and it is usually how I obtain them. Glad to have them! Edit to say don't forget the beanie and van
  5. .... That is the "INSTRUCTION pinned thread" and the Actual Pinned Thread to be used is there and called "New Set & Slot Requests", you just have to scroll for it where you saw this one to post into. I originally found that hard to read too, but turns out the "profile viewing" is AFTER YOU POST IN THE THREAD ABOVE, YOU CAN TRACK YOUR PROGRESS I hope that helps
  6. If it helps anyone? And I'll try to type better so no edits like the last few posts I'll plan to try and do a comic-con report this week Lord willing. The first post like nesting dolls will somewhat go back to 2018 or 2017 in the first post. I only started getting really good pics in 2019 or so. Maybe we can compare prices and or etc. Not that dealers have minded before, well some have about pictures, but Lord willing I'll have it started Friday!
  7. I was more meaning it is illogical that prices going down means "hooray-time" but I agree with you. FOMO in its basic form is things were being out priced to where no one could collect, which is awfully similar to value of 0 and being thrown away and no one could collect. They're both extremes, and it isn't beneficial to me to compare the two. All the other stuff is just jive, and or why don't people collect the way "I" do, but that is par for the course I guess. No one is right or wrong, it is only preference and perspective that can change in an instant or be different than others. I don't disagree with you @1Cool edit for clarity, all good, hope the needs are met for all collecting areas though within grey areas. I don't think there is a line you can't cross on the spectrum. It is a "market" after all and has ebbs and flows, that eventually get surpassed with the collecting needs up and down. No worries, it isn't too taxing yet on some. I'd be happy for a floor of stability and beyond that I don't think that "anyone saying that everything needs to go up a thousand dollars a month to flip" instead that the freefall would stop
  8. The logic makes no sense anyway, if I buy something for $500 that I can 5 years later buy for $5 that doesn't make me a "non-collector", that makes me frugal when I have bills to pay and to survive. $500 and $5 can mean something different in 5 years as well as to whether one should be spending on other than bills. It is only logical.
  9. Boardie's have already had some submissions come back with the JSA Label from their submissions, they were comics, so as far as comics then, yes CGC is currently doing those verification authentications. Whether they'll do it at the Comic-Con you mentioned, or if it like you said, will have to be dropped off there to go to Florida is up to individual circumstances. Yes, CGC is having JSA authenticate previously qualified books that are due to signatures, by authenticating them
  10. Here we go ... I luckily skipped to the correct parts, cgc totally would have been responsible and likely would have done something about it IF they were the ones to crack the blue label, video matches the book assumes someone will press the 9.6 to 9.8, but doesn't mention those personally involved and doesn't say cgc did it. Very unfortunate but a lot of gray area imo, that is based on perspective to the viewer, otherwise tries to explain the pitfalls for me as a viewer, but that tells me to do something like that at CGC to begin with and not discount cgc.
  11. Was some people who died, died. Was some people who died, died. I pray they knew Christ 🙏 and they died!
  12. Here is "Stan's Soap Box!" Talking about "Spidey-Super-Stories!" I can't blow it up any larger, but I think the pic is well enough for you to read, helps if you have a bigger monitor
  13. That White Cover Ain't Easy! Especially with the cumbersome size and etc. NICE!
  14. Given I watch the show too, currently, I'll join you!
  15. Idk It started off vibrant but then got a little bland. It was decent though. Nothing really to write home about I guess, missing panache, pizzazz or other, but it had its decent moments, if even they were bloody shockers. Which makes this absolutely NO REASON to see this in imax, but it had its moments I guess.
  16. I wouldn't see how it'd hurt tbh Preference. Shorter box depending on submission differing in quantity, but relatively the same. It wouldn't hurt I guess, just how would you stack them evenly over time. Let your yay be ya and nay, nay, so Yay! 😁 Preference imo
  17. I want to say the YouTuber was Newsstand guy, no harm no foul. But if we're starting a new thread from scratch idk if prudent to run the bases for a refresher There is just a lot when you think about it. I'm not saying good nor bad sigh.
  18. This in no way accounts for the sheer numbers of increase nearly half a year in and already tripled. When past years valiantman has said the most 9.9' s and 10's etc. were mostly your Last Ronin's and that Batman Wang issue. So this isn't defense, but worth mentioning 😕 I think.... When they did the video for the reholder issue with Matt Nelson? And maybe this is the subtext I'm missing as I don't recall? Did one of the YouTubers on the vid with Matt say that he had like a lot of wolverine limited he held back as cgc gave out those grades sparingly? And Matt said something like, "I'll have to look into that?" Might explain the one book perhaps but not why there are more half a year in than a ratio or percentage for 20+ years. If this is all the subtext that is vague in my memory then disregard It is just hard to be aware of everything all the time. Especially as I think that video was 45 minutes long haha Maybe I could revisit those threads if I have time, but will probably just listen to y'all.
