  1. No Worries @Qalyar I encourage you speaking up. Just to be honest, I don't know that it is possible If NGS or what not has it in place then I agree @CGC Mike
  2. I was wondering how ngc flags them per your example? How does cgc or ngs prove the pics are legit ? I thought that's why cgc requested the label? Are you saying ngc can defunct a slabbed coin over some pics? I was confused by the pics myself is why I asked, not that I was thinking otherwise, it's why I asked. How can cgc be culpable for the sellers listing? I now see the cracks in the case, so cgc tamper proof still worked and they've done their duty to the best of their ability but I get it. The reason I bothered to quote or post at all? A guy with his daughter at the LCS just this past weekend was asking about "empty slabs to put comics in!" I told him there may be some but I added that I thought without the cgc label if so. If there is an aftermarket for plastic? Is your only issue that someone may put something other that a such and such grade wolverine book in a wolverine slab? And or reseal? I get what you're saying but exactly what do you expect cgc or how do you expect them to cover all the bases as mentioned?
  3. ah so they're not sealed? Or the seller somehow resealed? Either way, this is on the Seller and not CGC, as CGC didn't provide the product. I could crack a slab and if it didn't do much damage from experience, then use glue and sell, but this doesn't make CGC culpable imo I mean that is just laughable, it's the hood wink. Instead of slashing the seller, somehow it has hoodwinked to make CGC to blame? the sadder part is that CGC is in a grey area where people think "maybe"
  4. These cases were done on purpose by cgc, do you not know this? there was a big hubbub when they were issued.... These were "gimmicks" or the like, promoted by the "bad idea" company earlier this year or late last, and CGC went with it, clarity the "bad idea" is an actual company name and not a opinion
  5. keep in mind that with the ebay payouts now, you're going to be waiting about another week for the payment (if on time) to make it to your bank, so bare in mind
  6. clarity picking up in person is a red flag if that isn't listed in your listing as shipping method I could wait a week if needed, not the end of the world, worst case he doesn't pay the tldr version above
  7. If your not hurting for the money it's up to you, I don't think I would, but it's not the end of the world to some sellers. If your even considering it, then it may not bother you so much, worst case he doesn't pay and you block anyway? In the end it's just a call you'll have to make, I know some books are slow sellers, and "if" it may not sell in that weeks time at least you have his "word"... still that is kind of a what if game. I don't think it would be a "scam" to wait a week, the having someone else pay and in person is a red flag, but still if your not minding waiting a week. As is, he hasn't paid, and no harm in cancelling the sale and blocking. No waiting for a refund and etc hassle. Might as well cancel and block but sometimes we "like to give the benefit of the doubt" but ya it's red flag
  8. only ship to address listed on ebay. Otherwise it is something like a "request outside of ebay", in which case, cancel and block and where you been since 2005? hope you're back for good
  9. Well I'm not flipping the one I sold either, I've owned it for 4-5 years, still In my thoughts I reckoned to stop spending and cut down on bills. Lot of good it did me, cause now I spent a little when I could have just kept the #13 tod and not spent? If that makes sense. I mean I had bills, but they would now have ended up paid at the same rate except I have a she hulk instead of tod. Idk 😂
  10. Have you ever? I sold a book made decent profit, but then bought another book That technically I wouldn't have traded the book I sold for the book I bought Does that make sense? I sold tomb of Dracula #13 cgc 9.2 for $550, after fees net $478, cost $156 profit $322, but that said I then bought savage she hulk 1 cgc 9.6 for $254 shipped. Not sure, it could have been wiser to hold onto tod#13? I needed it for bills though but already spent a little
  11. Sheep! I crossed through th e' s of sheep cause of the silent Bob gif, and it still just looks like an e sheesh
  12. Lol I laugh cause my mechanical error went to qc Friday, which may be good news because it is still at qc, so it can't really make it to the carrier until Monday anyway haha. Will be curious to see how it unfolds, but Lord willing yall get some grades soon!
