Yes, noticing that elevates it for me as well. Amazing what sometimes hides before us in plain sight; this is my example, but I'm sure everyone can relate to "discovering" an already-familiar cover/book at some point.

For all the times I have seen this cover, I have never until now noticed the crazed, angry look on Superman's face. I am going to chalk it up to the awesomeness of Richard's beautiful copy!  Thx for sharing!

Showcase '96 #3 -- Lois Lane/Black Canary team-up; some say first Birds of Prey. For sure its a Birds of Prey precursor akin to Sub-Mariner 34 (Defenders) at the very least. But it's probably as 1st Birds of Prey as Brave and the Bold 54 is first Teen Titans. Cool book, not the most common for its era. NM $20

Man-Thing 2nd series #1-3. All about VF but note #3 a bit misfolded/miscut. All three for $7.

Marvel Spotlight #1-4 featuring Captain Marvel. Everybody is fine plus to VF. #2 has white showing across top of cover from a miscut. It's cover paper, not interior paper, that is the white band you see. All for 4 for $7.
