  1. Thread closed now; thanks all, lookers and buyers both! Books either moving on or back into collection; last-minute ennui resulting in PM's will be considered/accommodated if books are still around but no guarantees. Thanks again, and I hope to offer a new thread from recent collection acquisitions (two small ones of late) in the near future, after a busy upcoming work stretch the next week or so.

    Cheers! (thumbsu

Possibly a copy Edgar picked up used?  Or maybe one that the person who bought it from Chuck read multiple times? hm

Both are possible I suppose. There weren't many doubles in the Church collection from what I have read, but there were a few. The (long-time) dealer who sold it to me says he bought he it from one of the CpitL City Distribution guys who bought it from Chuck.

Lesser grade Church not odd for a 1950 book, and coding nomenclature is correct but I'm odd spot (under Vic's elbow). If the Gerber copy was Church's, this is NOT it unless he had two copies. Gerber copy has writing upper left that could be Church style, coding or arrival date. Can't quite make it out.

Some awesome reading in that pile. :headbang:

Thx, my plan when I landed them yesterday was read and release, as they are not my usual collecting focus but were just too cool to pass up. But this morning a Cap 12 got dangled in front of me, so I might go Evelyn Wood on them, and some other stuff. :ohnoez:
