If you're not going to be happy because the only thing that looks 9.6 about it to you is the number in the upper left, I would take the seller up on a return. Chances are, others might have the same reaction one day down the line. You might spend a bit more, but you'll be able to find a 9.6 you feel good about easily enough. Don't let it nag you.

New Teen Titans #1, back around 1980, I'm pretty sure. First I recall, anyway. Bought multiples for the first five or eight or so issues.

Brave and the Bold #95, Fine+. How many times have you seen this in an LCS long box and wondered who the heck the mystery guest is? C'mon, admit it... $5

World's Finest #119, GVG, with what appears to be extra staples. What is it with people and their staplers, anyway? Superman and Batman meet Tigerman. Low grade silver fun for $5.

Turok Son of Stone #19, about 3.5. Back stained, book has that wrinkly, highly pressable wrinkled feeling to it...but who the heck is going to press this!?!?

But Dell comics are good comics, and the artwork is gorgeous. $10.

Special Marvel Edition #16, VG+ 2nd app. Master of Kung-fu, first Midnight, Starlin. $5.

Kid Colt Outlaw #90, VG-ish with unnecessary tape inside, a bit of coloring on the coloring page, but the l'il slacker gave up. $20.

Charlton Bullseye #7, about a 7.5 maybe 8.0 considering very nifty page quality for that infamous Charlton paper. Captain Atom by Dan Reed, Nightshade story too. $7

Very cool! It's a great GA book no matter how you slice it. Wanted an affordable Church; not sure I really have one but am efforting the confirmatory (or disproving) work. Just be nice to be certain either way. I will report back one day, but this may or may not be something that takes a bit of time.

Okay, last one for tonight so let's go with a big bronze era book from a Golden Age legend (heck, an all-time legend). Actually, it's a pair of books. Two first editions of Will Eisner's A Contract With God -- the hardcover, hand-signed limited edition, #1287 of 1500, and a paperback first edition as a reading copy as well. Both are nice mid-grade copies, though the paperback appears as if the top of the back cover got wet once, slight waviness and stain.  $400 for the pair.

Here's a scarce Harvey...Witches' Western Tales #29 in G/VG 2.5-3.0. Reprints Boys' Ranch but probably less common than the original. $25.

Bronze but uncommon, and a must for Archie fans...Fast Willie Jackson #3 in VG with slight spine roll and general wear. If I didn't have another, this would NOT be leaving. Fascinating back story to this seven-issue run from Golden Legacy comics. Worth an Internet search to read about. $30.

Sticking with Four Color, here's #528, Dale Evans, low grade. Fair 1.5. Spine roll, wear, cover hanging on by top staple, CF detached. Complete. $5.

Let's do a lot of four Santa Claus Funnies...Dell four color #'s 1154, 867 and two copies of 958. #867 is the coveted "Elyse" collection with her trademark colored-in Christmas tree. The rest are free of embellishment. VG/F range books. All four for $30.
