Charlton Comics Group Appreciation and Information Thread
Get Marwood & I replied to com1cbook's topic in Comics General
Some of Charlton's finest production work follows A miscut Cynthia... An inking error strewn Reptilicus (same on the back cover)... A Romantic Story overprint.... A blank interior Margie... A double cover Konga... A miscut Six-Gun Heroes... And an off register Submarine Attack. -
Some good bits, some bad bits, but nothing to really stir the emotions for me. A lot of shiny shiny though. And he's sticking with the timeless child thing, it seems. I think I'm out now. From an era we won't see the like of again, when U.N.I.T. recruited men. RIP, Captain Yates.

Architect? Larky Get more like I deleted the first 20 pages of what was going to be a 100+ page Charlton focused Miller journal. It was rubbish. And I never got around to finishing the generic Miller one. That one was looking ok, on paper. Maybe next year I'll have another go. I'm off! Wish me luck on the merry motorways of Englandville!

Aw, I'm sorry to see you include me in that summary Roy. They were just little jokes, nothing vindictive. We should be able to laugh at ourselves, and recognise our foibles, wouldn't you say? I thought you'd find them funny too. Anyway, sorry if I upset you, no offence meant and a very Merry Christmas to you

A discussion about using AI to grade comic books.
Get Marwood & I replied to VintageComics's topic in Comics General
I don't see why not. There are many possibilities, I should imagine. Would it bother you, to learn that AI was grading comics? I don't think I'm that fussed really - certainly not on moderns. Maybe robots are just as useless as people Liz. Or at least, the people that programmed them. Didn't one of those driverless cars crash into the side of a lorry that had a picture of the sky on it once? Something like that. This one below could play for Man U. -
