  1. Sorry, there were dots? Have to say Ditch, your journal is great. Keep it up
  2. Can you read my mind? No but I can see your drawers.
  3. Ok, so she's a Doctor, not a nurse. He's checking out her knickers either way. Superman? Snooperman more like.
  4. Why is he looking anyway? The nurse already took an x-ray and that should be enough. He's just showing off. And I bet he looked at the nurses knickers as well on the way out.
  5. rejoin1 riːˈdʒɔɪn/ verb join together again; reunite. "the stone had been cracked and crudely rejoined" return to (a companion, organization, or route that one has left). to keep posting Lee Van Cleef gifs
  6. The more I look at that, the more I'm convinced that's exactly what they look like
  7. Fast forward 12 months and.......... No change Bofum?
  8. You're welcome. Being a reprint, and not of a significant title / issue (i.e. it doesn't reprint AF15 or something like that) it has fairly low value in this grade I'm afraid. I can get a VG now for £8 online in the UK, there's a nice looking copy on eBay UK with a £4.99 opening price and a wildly speculative outlier at £52 listed on eBay Canada which, I would wager, will never sell in a million years of Wednesdays. So not a retirement planner alas. But anything with a shilling price on it is a treasure, after a fashion
  9. I'm old fashioned and believe you should always respond to any good intentioned contact, however tricky the subject matter. I'm sure he will respond.
  10. Hello @AgonistesNix and welcome to the forum The comic in your picture is a 1965 L Miller UK reprint of the 1956 'Strange Stories of Suspense' #9 comic from Marvel / Atlas: https://www.comics.org/issue/376512/ According to the GCD (link above) the cover "derives from the splash panel of the source story." Nice book!
  11. Good shout, but ASM 700 isn't a swipe - it's a reprint of the rejected Ditko original which preceded the final Kirby version. So if anything, Kirby's is the swipe! Is that a comic? Patience Maurice, patience.... If no one posts for a week you can fill her up
  12. For reasons which I'll share after we get a response. I do understand the point you are making though.
  13. Nothing heard from Dena, so I sent this email today to Mark Haspel, titled "A message from the members of the CGC Comic forum" I'll let you know if I get any response Hi Mark My name is Steve and I'm a comic collector based in the UK. I've been a member of the CGC comic forum for two years now, and I believe it is the best comic related resource out there with members from all over the world coming to share their knowledge and love of the hobby. Thank you for providing this free forum - it is a credit to your company. Many of the forum members also share a love of the CGC grading process which has without doubt energised the industry. A slabbed book is a wonderful thing to behold and the service your company provides is appreciated and respected by the majority. With that said, I would like to bring to your attention the feelings of many forum members in respect of the 'newton ring' issue which no doubt you will be aware of. There have been a number of discussion threads relating to the problem recently and many members feel let down by the lack of meaningful communication from CGC on the matter. Embedded below are the results of a poll in which 86 respected members voted. The results speak for themselves: Here is the link to the forum thread should you wish to read it in full: https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/436995-are-newton-rings-normal-and-acceptable/ I hope having reviewed the poll results and the associated thread comments that you will want to respond to the members and address their concerns. We all love the product but we also rely on CGC to show integrity in respect of how issues are managed and, crucially, communicated. Would you consider placing a message on the forum to the members please? I know they would appreciate it. Thank you for your time and for reading this mail. Kind regards Steve
  14. Ok. I'll leave it at that now Flippers arrived. Don't forget to check out my Archie pence thread Chuck. Cheerio
  15. I don't think so Chuck. But your posts confuse me. Someone says you could poop in a box labelled Star Wars and it would make money. You counter that the director of Solo would disagree, therefore implying Solo didn't make money. I could have responded ''opinion, not fact" to your statement, as you are not Ron Howard. When I point this out you say you didnt say Solo did badly, but that it didn't live up to expectations. Since when is not living up to expectations a good thing? It's bad isn't it?
