  1. It happens. We've bumped it a few times now so maybe someone will spot it. Must be some Star Wars collectors here - why not add that to the thread title (rare Star Wars toys)? It can only help
  2. Hulk likes DanPiercy Hulk picture. DanPiercy Hulk picture is cool. But if DanPiercy should start to draw Hulk in provocative 'kav' poses, with big fat Hulk arses jutting out provocatively, then Hulk will smash!
  3. The bit about resto on a paid tier. Did I understand you right? You get charged the unrestored FMV tier rate, it comes back restored - and therefore with with a much lower value - and you don't get anything back?
  4. Cheers Bob. Seems a bit unfair. Maybe I'll find out more when I walk through the London office with my one.... (if it ever opens that is)
  5. Nothing wrong with the occasional rant or vent Ryan, given that both end in 'nt'. Add what's left together and you get rave. Which is also ok.
  6. Harsh. I admit it's not exactly a Tarrantino but I enjoyed the crashing about from the MightyCox. Sorry, clanging about. Clanging about?
  7. Buy the other one, and when he invoices you tell him your wallet is out of stock.
  8. I'd like to know this answer to this too, having never submitted. According to this: https://www.cgccomics.com/submit/services-fees/?index=true ....Express is capped at 3,000 so what do you do for books more valuable? Also, how does a book coming back as restored affect what you pay? Who decides the FMV for a restored AF15 for example?
  9. If I look at the publishers listed for just 1960 the only other ones not covered above are ACG, Crestwood, Harvey and Prize. I've yet to see a pence book for these publishers, nor have I checked subsequent years for others in any detail. But at the moment it does look look like these are the only seven publishers who produced first printing pence priced copies between 1960 and 1982 until dual pricing kicked in: Archie Charlton DC Dell Gold Key King Marvel Dive in if you know differently....
  10. Slowly they trickle in.... Up to 384 now of a possible 832 (if I've got my sums right) Still no sign of a copy for these five titles though: Will they show up one day...? Mebbe. Meanwhile, here are three BRIDES IN LOVE! Face it, George was a boring **** Better off shot. "It's in here somewhere Daphne....." Good job he's a Doctor. I think he's broken her neck there.
  11. I like the cover though. And I did see what you did there. And it was funnier than the comic.
  12. She moved the bed! Quick, get me a needle and thread ! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah Hahahahahaha Hahaha Ha...
  13. Sad and lonely? Sad and lonely! Yes, about right actually AJD Heritage is a good site for quality scans. You get different results for U.K. Edition and UK Edition by the way. I've tried them all! The dedication needed to hunt these books down is considerable and sometimes you wonder if you'd be better off playing outside. But what else can we do on a Sunday, as Thomas Crown once said. I know, I know. it's Saturday. I took a look at the lots in your post. All fine books, but all reprint titles. I've covered Marvel, DC, Charlton, Archie, Dell, King and Gold Key so far and have yet to find a first printing pence priced variant that dates prior to April / May of 1960. That's when it all seemed to happen. I have looked at other publishers too and haven't yet seen any pence copies for them to warrant a full search, so it may be that the 7 publishers above are the only ones. But the research goes on. Keep chipping in boys - it makes it all worthwhile to know that you have an audience, however select
  14. There's an Andru page on Comiclink at the mo - no Spidey in it but already at $850
