  1. All good fun. I've got another distribution snippet to post later which is interesting. Just got to look something up first. I quite like these old fanzines.
  2. Amazing Spider-Man. Ditko, Romita, Kane, Andru over 185 issues.
  3. Never mind all that, LowGrade - W.H. Smiths weren't selling bi-monthlies
  4. In respect of Registry winner announcements, someone please make them start. In respect of Adamantium's gifs, someone please make them stop.
  5. https://www.cgccomics.com/news/article/11945/ Carney has been the instrumental leader in building a proprietary platform that enables CCG to identify a collectible from among millions of possibilities in a near-instant using artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and advanced computer vision and image processing technologies. The resulting efficiency gains have enabled CCG to have the fastest processing times in the industry, which was achieved after eliminating a record backlog of more than 1 million collectibles. The trailblazing AI platform has enabled the company to scale to meet the rapidly growing demand for authentication and grading services amid a continued surge of interest in collectibles.
  6. Is it a coincidence that an anagram of @wytshus is "Shut? Why?" Well, nearly. @CGC Mike Mike, can you tell us who the FsOTY are, or are you bound by a confidentiality agreement?
  7. I've said this before I'm sure, and in a lot more detail, but I'd love to se a 'proper', faithful Gobby kills MJ story. What a way to go out that would be for the original cast.
  8. I'm interested to see who the FsOTY are. I mean, me and you have won it in the past so surely they've reached the bottom of the barrel now? Maybe that's what's holding it up Mark. They've run out of candidates.
  9. I don't slab anything so I don't even know why I'm here
  10. Indeed. It's not the end of the world of course, but CGC really know how to destroy value, don't they. I feel like I attended The Oscars ceremony four days ago and still don't know who won. Oh, hang on, just saw Al Pacino in the toilet. He got best supporting actor.
  11. Not a book you see often... Whoever 'drew' Richie wasn't Rich. In artistic talent, I mean
  12. One issue of FD notes that ASM has sales of 290K in the US, and Spider-Man Comics Weekly had sales of 250K. If UK comic collectors read ASM in the same volume, we'd need considerably more than 2-6% of the print run, wouldn't we. Little snippet gold mines aren't they, these fanzines
  13. Well, no one asked the obvious question so here it is: Did anyone take that offer up, I wonder? It's weird reading these historic fanzines in a way. Fifty years old, and heralding 'new' things that are old hat to us now. One issue teases F.O.O.M. but doesn't say what it stands for. Another, the Reflections Spidey record. If only....
