  1. The vast majority of books in this thready are in really nice shape except for the holes. In the days before bags and boards, in order to preserve it you had to damage it. Quite a conundrum.
  2. Here's mine. Back in the 80s a guy walked in to my LCS (this is someone the owner had never seen before or since) with 15 to 18 golden age books that all had binder holes. I bought this one. Notice only 1 staple. Got to save those materials. There's a war on. I think I paid $40.00. Which was a lot for a starving college student.
  3. I believe this signature is a fake.
  4. According to his Wikipedia page: Parobeck was diagnosed with Type one diabetes, which can be controlled by taking insulin. According to his friends, however, he was somewhat lackadaisical in this regimen, which ultimately led to his death.[4]
  5. So far, this is my least favorite Disney+ show. I was a fan of Moon Knight back in the day, but I haven't read the current iteration. It's just not doing it for me.
  6. My favorite Kirby DC's are Mister Miracle, Kamandi, Sandman (yes I realize I am in the minority here.) The others are fine, just not as good to me.
  7. I shipped a long box of comics once. I left enough room so that I could pack each end of the box with paper, packing peanuts or bubble wrap. It got there fine. I wouldn't recommend this for valuable books though.
  8. The 70's Saturday morning show is now streaming on Tubi. https://tubitv.com/series/300008441/shazam?start=true
  9. Just a hunch, but should people start stocking up on Power Man & Iron Fist #58?
  10. I'm afraid this is as close to a Saga TV show we will get.
  11. Hopefully, it's the post office. This past April I sold some books that were what you would find in the quarter bin. I printed the label and mailed the books. For the longest time it showed that it only showed that the label was printed but not mailed. Finally, after a month and with the buyer never receiving them I issued a refund. 2 weeks after that they arrived at the buyer's address. I also had one that never showed it being mailed, yet I received positive feedback.
  12. Superman #400 Howard Chaykin, Julius Schwartz, Al Williamson, Wendy Pini, Steranko
  13. I had no idea Byrne did Star Brand. Back then I would buy all the books he had anything to do with.
  14. When I read the title I thought "1-2-3-4 is a pretty bad idea for a PIN."
