  1. This thing is worth the $10 just for the story that goes with it. I will get it started. Bid $10!
  2. I know he ran a sales thread within the last year, so he was still selling here. Don’t know if that helps or not.
  3. I will take it at 20% off. Thanks
  4. Bought and Amazing book from Steve. He was nice enough to let me pay it out over a month. Book was very well packed and shipped super fast. Great communication in a timely and professional manner. I could not have been more pleased.
  5. I do think it is funny how a lot of the pictures are showing reversed…except for the Zatara pages when he is doing a spell and showing backward would help me! Loving the thread.
  6. One of the really classic GA crime covers. The book has 2 extra staples added later, not in manufacture. However the original staples are there and the cover is attached to them, barely. I would put the paper at slightly brittle but the interior portion of the pages is very supple, it is just the top edge that gets flakey. There is a cop off the front cover on the bottom right. What I believe to be arrival date pencilled at top right. Some interior pages have paper loss at top corner but only 2 pages for it go slightly into the art. An attractive entry level copy. I would grade it at a 1.8 but others thought it might be a bit higher. Shipping is $15 usps priority mail in the US. I will ship to Canada but we would have to agree on a new shipping price with insurance. Returns accepted if you notify me within 5 days of receiving the book and return shipping and insurance is on you. PayPal only. A CGC 1.8 sold on Heritage early this year for 1800. Take this one for less. $1600 and this GA classic can be yours!
  7. I would say slightly on one edge. I don’t know if it is enough to get that paper designation from cgc, but if I was buying I would want to be told.
  8. This is obviously a low grade book but it is also fairly rare and expensive, at least to me. Extra staples are added and are keeping the cover on. Book is complete. Top edge of a few of the folds is starting to chip but other than that spot paper is solid. Two pages have a small amount of paper lids, one slightly impacting the story. Any help is greatly appreciated!
  9. As others have said it is an accumulation of very minor defects. If the books colors in hand are what they appear in the photos then I think this is a great pickup. A lot of the covers to this issue seem to be tanning and this one the whites look blindingly white! Really attractive copy. 6.5
