  1. I love me some free shipping!! $40 Do you have photocopies of the first two and last two interior pages by any chance? My bid stands either way, just curious.
  2. I remember getting this one signed and I remember picking it because I had two copies of the first issue. This was the third printing and I just wanted the autogrpah and a reason to chat with Mr. O'Barr for a moment. I was going through the collection and just realized it was a third printing and that one seems to be a bit more rare. Now I am thinking of a press and slab, but how much does the signature kill the grade? Or does it just get the note "writing on cover"? I guess the silver lining would be at least I know it is genuine. It may not be worth the fees to slab it to be honest but I am glad to have it. Worth the slab? It is in nice shape.
  3. I bought about 75 books in a lot from Joe. They were all packed with the care. I could not have wished for any more. I total pro to deal with and I look forward to more purchases.
  4. There is also the possibility that what another company considers "Professional" CGC on that day may consider to be "fine" in which case the book could come back at B2 rather than A2. You know what it looks like in hand and that is the most important. I have sent in a book that had professional restoration done that was top quality, at least to me. The professional removed amateur resto and replaced it with professional work and it raw in hand I had could not tell what had been done if I did not have before and after photos. It came back a B5. I was a bit upset at first but to be honest it would have been a far lower grade C5 before so I was still happy I had it done. I do wonder if on another day it might have been an A5 though?
  5. I wonder if this is a new qualified that used to be just a blue label. I have seen a 9.2 book with Siamese pages and other than the notation of the pages there was nothing and that would also affect the reading of the comic.
  6. I cannot imagine how mad I would be if that had happened to me on a book that I had bought new off the stands!! I think I would take it out of the slab to be honest. It is a really nice looking book.
