  1. Thank you for the recommendation, electricprune. I...Vampire sounds like a very interesting series. I particularly like the way that you presented it. It reminds me of something that I could have read in a Dungeons & Dragons Player's Handbook.
  2. Thank you for the information, delt569.
  3. That is a very good question. Also, how much does Rich_Henn charge for his services, and will he have a booth set up at Star Wars Celebration?
  4. Thank you for the reply, delt569. I was hoping that CGC would have a booth set up there. I will probably just settle for holograms and Qualified Labels as a result of their absence.
  5. Very nice, PreHero. I am sorry to say that I never had the pleasure of meeting him.
  6. I was just thinking the same thing about Artist Alley, the blob. You beat me to it.
  7. I realize that it was posted back in 2005, but that Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea is absolutely gorgeous.
  8. This is very sad news. May the Force be with him.
  9. I would consider those comic books to be miscut, not miswrapped.
  10. In my experience, a miswrap does not typically affect the overall grade of a comic book.
  11. Very nice, JasonDaTwit. I was fortunate enough to go home with Howard Chaykin and Ramona Fradon original artwork last weekend as well. They are very nice people.
  12. Very nice, Jking3437. Batman #189 is on my wish list.
  13. CGC will remove the comic books from their holders for $10 each. You can then have Stan Lee sign the comic books. After the comic books are signed, CGC will reholder them with a Signature Series Label, but you will not be guaranteed the same grades. You should also be able to pay an additional $5 for a Stan Lee Signature Series Label. It is not a difficult process. I have done it numerous times. Good luck, BigxHurt.
  14. I was actually happy to hear this. It should result in more tickets being available. I typically only attend for two days.
  15. Very nice, Red84. Congratulations on your new acquisition.
  16. Beautiful. Congratulations on the new acquisitions, nepatkm.
  17. One of these days, I will spend some time posting images of my collection. I am still trying to figure out how to post images in the Gallery. I am not tech-savvy. I would like to retrieve the images from my cell phone. Any advice on this matter would be very much appreciated.
  18. Beautiful. Congratulations on the new acquisitions, nepatkm.
  19. That is a great idea, jdennis3. I wish that I had thought of it back in 2001. Very cool.
  20. The Big Apple Con was a very welcome alternative to the ridiculously overpublicized New York Comic Con. Comic conventions were never meant to be tourist attractions. I am very grateful to have achieved everything that I planned on achieving last Saturday. I miss the old days. Stop the hate.
