Current Artists.

All comics have been computer enhanced since the mid to late 90s when digital coloring started. Also many artists do their sketching and drawing on tablets and forgo traditional pencil to paper. I know Artgerm primarily draws his covers in the digital realm. I'm not sure why the medium used by the artist matters. Alex Ross paints in gouache, some use an iPad. This is Jim Lee using a 12 year old iPad and his finger. Talent is Talent.

What are your current favorite Cover Artists that you think people will be debating and collecting (just for the covers) like the GA Artists that are popular and have remained so 70 years after the fact? I think Jock will be one as he already has an iconic Cover in Detective Comics 880. Another two I think will be J.Scott Campbell and Adam Hughes as they have that GGA feel in the vein of Matt Baker. Thoughts?

Hey. I'm reorganizing my 1985 to 2011 runs of Superman ,AOS, SMOS and AC with the assorted one-shots etc. Do you organize your collections from.this time frame by series or by the triangle numbering? I currently have them all organized by series with the one-shots and annuals in their own box. But when someone suggested the Emperor Joker storyline, I decided to dig it out and give it a re-read as Inhadnt read it since it came out. I had to go and pull out and dig through 5 boxes. If they were in the triangle system I would have had 1 box. I know the triangle ended in 2002ish but that's still 11 years (from 1991) to organize. Thoughts?

Superman: Emperor Joker is a collected edition but I'm intrigued by the Lobo Paramilitary Christmas Special. Have to check that one out. Special place in my heart for Keith Giffen.

You're right. The edition I was given was all one volume. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Defined as: A one-shot comic book is a standalone comic book that tells a complete story in a single issue. I really wanted to go with Sandman too as it's one of the series I have complete. But missing the first 12 issues or so would have bugged me as it started in the 80s. I felt it was better to have the start of series than come in a quarter of the way thru so I went with Spawn for another Gaiman connection.

JIM/Thor would only be until 171 for the decade rule. No Exceptions. But a cool run you have nonetheless.

I was thinking X-Men too but not having the Wolverine vs Hellfire and The Dark Phoenix Saga in my collection was a deal breaker. Not to mention missing out on the first appearance of Dazzler.😁

You're right. I was in the middle of editing it when you posted. I was going off memory, thinking there was no way they only published 27 issues in 6 years. But 🤷‍♂️

The caveat being you only can own the comics from that series in that decade. So you would be able to own all the issues that ran from Jan 1st of the start of the decade to Dec 31st of the end of the decade (ex.
