  1. It has probably been covered here before, but since I am new to the Boards and did not want to review the thousands of prior postings.... WHY IS JOHN RICHARD FLANAGAN NOT GETTING CREDIT FOR HIS DC COMICS WORK? And subsequently, how do I go about changing that? Here is a list of issues that I attribute to Flanagan: Adventure Comics #36, #37, #38, #39 Double Action Comics #2 More Fun Comics #45, #48 Original art collector Doug Ellis has some incredible Flanagan originals posted on ComicArtFans. When comparing those to the DC cover work listed above, how can anyone attribute these comics to another artist? Oh, and if you have a copy of any of the above comics, please post a picture! I can look at Flanagan art all day long!
  2. I suppose an unpublished Gentry cover can qualify for this thread?
  3. Found the answer many pages into the Ask CGC topics list. Thanks.
  4. Those 20 year old brittle pages might escape their notice!!
  5. When the Batman and Superman 10 Cent Adventure comics were on the stands (2002?! wow), I bought the limit every time I went to my local shop (10 per visit). I've got stacks of those. This might be possible! On the flip side, why pay the grading costs for NG. 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 1.8 etc copies of that?
  6. That is a really nice book right there! How about a double cover #2?
  7. Rick, I'll take the True Love Pictorial (can't seem to figure out how to reply to your posting).
  8. True Bride to Be #29, "Sweet Young Thing". Baker or not? Definitely Colletta.
  9. HA! That's got to be his worst one (if it is really his work)!
  10. Here's something interesting: A Harvey File Copy of Wartime Romances #16. The spine is completely split, and I removed the Harvey file marker from the book (was stapled to the cover and was beginning to tear).
  11. I've been uploading photos of many Baker covers into my registry sets. It's tough trying to light these correctly so that the cases don't reflect. This is another of my favorite covers (my "favorites" list is just about ALL of them!).
  12. Smokin hot! I don't have a copy of that one.... yet.
  13. Resizing images is not fun... Cinderella Love is one of my favorite Baker titles, and so far I've been able to stay in the lead on the registry.
  14. This appears to be the correct topic for my query, and I received an automated reply from CGC after asking them the question (they redirected me to these forums for help). I have pedigree books to submit which came with documentation. I know there is space on the submission form to indicate the "pedigree" name. I want to keep the original signed/stamped documents with my books. Will CGC send the documents back to me after grading or should I send only copies of the documentation to CGC with the books?
  15. Unwitnessed signature copy with both Sam and Melody's signatures. Love this movie! Maybe it has something to do with the soundtrack, and the opening title sequence featuring Flash Gordon comic art.
  16. Do you have a link? Why no competitive sets?
  17. Nice photo album Sqeggs! Even though I've seen these covers a hundred times, I never tire of looking at fresh photos of other people's collection! Are people not competing in the CGC Registry because their books are raw/ungraded? It seems there's only a few competitive sets...
