  1. You get free detailed notes with the Elite membership, but everyone else has to pay. I imagine you would need a free account to request them in the first place.
  2. Sweet copy! What are the remaining 9? I might just put all the Cindy Loves on my list....
  3. Awesome! I'll have to spend some time working down to a top ten. There's so much to appreciate!
  4. I know I know. I just wanted someone to spill the beans and let me know just how much of that cover is a photocopy and which parts. Oh well, it now means I won't have to bid and spend several thousand $$!!
  5. Maybe a new thread so that it doesn't need to strictly be "Baker Romance"? I mean, the APC series does not exactly work here. That Amazing Ghost Stories 14 might be a contender... What about Nightmare? Not that it's cover work, but I am really loving those Nugget postings over in the Rarest Romance thread.
  6. How about that: only one Authentic Police Cases #38 on the census. I'm going to submit a batch of Bakers, and I'm sending an APC38 within it. Who wants to give it a grade based on a low resolution front cover only scan?
  7. I suppose its worth it now that the older posted images are loading. So much to catch up on....
  8. Has this thread done a "top ten Baker covers" yet? If yes, what page do I go to? If no, what are you waiting for?
  9. How far into Nugget does Baker's work go? Beyond just the first issue?
  10. THANK YOU THANK YOU! Awesome thread/post. No contradictions to what has been written above.
  11. I had heard something along those lines, but my information was all second-hand. I also heard that Mr. Flessel claimed credit for those More Fun issues. Is "FFB" his/her profile name? I'd like to find that old posting.
  12. I keep getting beaten in posting the next issue! I can't complain when it's a 9.6!! Unreal. Here's a more down-to-earth copy:
  13. Those are INSANE! Where do I buy a ticket to that museum?
  14. "If only I could...." What? If only WHAT?! Sweet book, mine is a lowly 3.5.
  15. Oh! Looks like you got it right on. Should have been looking at all these posts rather than just the prior page....
  16. Brian was real close. It received a 5.0. I just did not see the amount of accumulated defects that would bring this down to 5.
  17. The secret sorrow is that subscription fold that breaks color from her ring finger down to the bottom (BARELY visible). I wish I could upload a large file size so you could really get a better image....
  18. Fantastic! Think it'll grade that high with the roughed/impacted base? I got a TAR40 back from CGC last year that I thought was going to earn about the same (6 - 7) and they didn't seem to think so. Here, what do you think?
  19. Striking colors and that autograph is really special. I'm gonna have to add this book to my want list...
  20. Would it be inappropriate to ask what the grader notes are on the restoration of that Action 7 on Comiclink right now? Or should I upgrade my membership level for the one time I might actually use that feature?
  21. Really great cover. Don't know how she'll survive...
  22. That TAR is a great example of two types of tape and their aging effect. I would have taped it on the inside, not outside of a cover. Pull the staples too, and set the tape underneath.
  23. I'm in agreement that tape shouldn't be used on that book, but I have a few great looking low grade Bakers where the spines are completely split.
