Ofttimes low tech and analog protections are the most difficult to defeat. Seems to me CGC or any top Tier grading service needs a dept akin to what the US Secret Service does for the US Treasury and that is; prevent, detect, investigate and go after counterfeiters and rouge insiders. If CGC does have one of those departments, then frankly they have failed

Silver Lining? Many who have been scammed will exit the hobby. Combined with a sinking comic market and this situation prices in general should drop nicely for true collectors. Winter not only is coming for many sellers/dealers, it may also be a Nuclear one. Only those sellers/dealers with luck + true business acumen will survive the lean times ahead...

Well, anyone the past several years who has purchased via eBay ANY 3rd Gen CGC slab Newsstand version of; ASM 194,238,252,300 Hulk 181,340, New Mutants 98 for example, should certainly look at their books and be prepared to soil themselves. Given the scope and amount of years this has been going on it seems mathematically impossible that none of those tainted slabs have not made it to other venues.

I too have been dealing with Will for 20 years and have found him to be a totally straight shooter. Will represents the "best" of Comic Art Dealers! Even if I'm not so sure that is a positive statement
