  1. Huge props for going after the Meat rather than the small potatoes like is being done in a Showcase thread over in the SA sub-forum
  2. Actually many here get annoyed how I repeat over and over that I don't sell comics. Mine is pretty much one of those black hole collections.
  3. Those mid 70's Topps stickers are Hen's tooth tough in High grade due to roller marks occurring during printing, not to mention back of pack sealing damage. 1977 Star Wars is very tough, 1976 Star Trek too, but 1976 Happy Days for example is significantly more difficult above PSA6 (older slabbed 7's). Yet 1975 and 1976 Marvel Stickers do not suffer that same malady with high grade being the norm - go figure. Please note my comments in this post apply to stickers not cards BTW: I'm a long time non-sports collector, pretty much as long as I have been for comics.
  4. They won't. 2020/21/early 22 will not occur again in Comics nor Trading Cards. Supplies of most items in high grade have increased due to the bubble and interest has waned. The younger generations with their tiny attention spans have now been there and done that, they won't be doing it again. Bubbles are seldom good for the long term health in any collectible arena The potential good news is it may be fun hobby again for those who remain..? Folks there will always be outliers in any hobby. Outliers or Hot Comic De Jour in general are not a reflection of a hobby at large.
  5. Was referring to a potential Film with "Don't believe it until you see it." - Even if a film actually see fruition, the new thing is if studio does not think it will make money they might shelve so the tax papers foot the bill. Hoping the id10t's in WashDC will change that but not expecting anything.
  6. Which is why the mantra for any Film announcement should be; Don't believe it until you see it!
  7. that contradicts your initial post that kicked off this thread Once again folks; Don't believe it until you see it!
  8. Gazillion's = any number a dealer has seemingly pulled out of their posterior.

  10. ^ Thanks man. Is the listing only attainable via the API? Happy to report I own none of the top6
  11. Correct. Thats now an ubiquitous catch-all designed to ensure culture wars thus preventing + burying class wars. The sheep on all sides of the fence fall for it every time.
  12. Slight tangent; I know of many including myself who quit DC the day New 52 took over. Sure it created a bump so Johns, Lee and Dideo were able to nicely pad their 2011 bonus' but as expected the increased sales were rather short lived. The few new readers/ customers who did stick around were dwarfed by those who walked away never to return...
  13. Don't worry about the wrap life's too short. If one is picky with Marvel's Hanna's they'll almost never get any. 'sides it looks GREAT! I for one am jelly I just checked the 3 Funtastic World Of Hanna-Barbera Treasury's no Space Ghost, no Herculoids. You are correct, TV Stars 3 is their only Full app in a Marvel published book. Both are seen on a Biography page in Laff 11. My opinion is the Bio page doesn't really count.
  14. A $2 1995 pickup from "Rino" my go to local show seller during my early college days. I acquired so many great books from him for what at the time was slightly under guide. He was a great conversationalist and one of only 2 Comic Dealers I've ever personally met that I feel was truly honest. Dude was a total straight shooter. Back from CGC this week one of my "Rino" WBN's - not pressed. All you WP only snobs folks please avert your eyes now as this one is ow and I simply could not care less! My $2-$10 1Mid 90's purchases from Rino are priceless as they bring me back to what was an exciting time in my life.
  15. The minor bottom crease that held the book back from being a 9.8 I know will press out. However using 4x magnification color breaking can be seen. Will probably reach out to Joey for guidance via a new thread in Comic Book Grading Sub-Forum 80 page Giant with Neal Adams/Plastino cover back this week from CGC. A 1999 $50 purchase which at time was high for the book.
  16. ^ Outstanding Ploog cover. So much so i won't make any double entendre jokes regarding the title.
  17. Mater of opinion is my feeling. My Dog's for example love brittle.
