Mylites 2Mil, are my preferred for the usage you mentioned. Less money than 4Mil sleeves but equal protection except for being dropped. IMHO eGerber is equal or superior to Bill Cole at 30-45% lower price! However eGerber is stuck in the middle part of the last century and only takes phone orders, and in my experience they seldom bother to actually answer the phone. Is business really that good for them?

Self-submitted, NOT pressed, RAW purchase made in 1999, arrived back home yesterday. I measured the pages with my OWL they were White, in fact perhaps the most White SA pages I've ever seen - looked like a mid 80's DC (mando). Yet was given OW/W, seriously CGC WTF. At least they got the grade correct, one of the sharpest Mid 60's DC's I've ever held in my hands. Please note the vertical line on the S in Superman is the slab itself and looks worse in the scan than in hand.

As you and I both know the Red covers are tough in High Grade. 1970's Scooby's seem to be very hot, be it Marvel or Gold Key. Early (PRE 1975) Gold Key's in 9.2 and above go for solid coin but they seldom pop up... Same goes for Scooby Marvel #1 in 9.8 last one sold at Heritage in May 2023 for $720 . Comics and collectibles just like stocks have psychological price barriers both upwards and downwards on prices...well perhaps a lot less than stocks but they do exist... anyhow i read about it in a trading card forum. Will post it here if i can find it...

IF it negatively breaches the psychological 500 barrier, it will drop below 450 then 400. Same of course applies to many books. The only question is if the 500 is threshold breached.

Newly slabbed self-submission. Not pressed - pressing won't help the minor issues that prevent it from grading higher. As a teen, not sure why, but in terms of Superman/Action comic books I very much wanted a high grade Silver Age Superman with both Braniac and Luthor on cover. Later the same decade in 1998 I accomplished that goal, well sort of given they are only "wooden dummies". BTW I do consider mid 1960's DC in 9.4 to be high grade, but not so with Marvel. 1960's DC collectors have to be less picky given scant supply compared to Marvel in 9.2 and higher. Back in the Summer of 1995 Geppi/Diamond placed ads for the "Gold Key Archive" in their publications like Overstreet Fan. I called them (Ann) up ordered some inexpensive books, both Little Stooges in my current signature for example, as well as some TV photo covers. My "best" pick up in hindsight was Scooby #9 which is the exact copy pictured in ad While I was not going to submit until Q/C actually existed again at CGC , I still had a credit for my club renewal last Dec - renewal is now turned off - so I dropped off a small stack at NYCC and have kept my fingers crossed they actually return to me without damage or worse not at all. Anyhow my Scooby 9 is back home :). This exact book carries huge personal memories of that summer. Some on this forum, not to mention a good buddy of mine, whine about or carp or scoff at any book without White Pages and this one is only Off-White but I'd rather have no other copy of the issue no matter the grade or page quality! While I fully agree with the grade I've seen many worse looking 9.6's .This book presents much nicer than a 9.4

Yep and less and less will fall for the same tripe again. Perhaps that is why no posts from Matt Tuck and his ilk so far this month Anyone can look like a "genius" in a bubble. Those with actual business acumen will simply adapt to a sinking market with the new norms those who don't will fade away... Cash flow is king!

@CONathan if you are truly serious in your quest go after that 104 and 106 first and foremost. IMHO do whatever you can to get it! It may be a long while before another with your narrow criteria hits the market and by then price could very well be multiples of today. As noted 104 through emperical data is rarest in 9.8... Miss out now miss out for probably half a decade or more. Fortune favors the bold... good luck

At least 2 of which are all 9.8 or above. Using cgcdata (our gratitude to @valiantman ) - pulled the data. I massaged via notepadd++ then dumped into excel and sorted using 9.8 from smallest to largest. As for WP's good luck! Greg/Valiantman has mentioned that is not query-able through CGC's API. The data is clearly in their DB so perhaps at some distant future date?? Folks please note the ASM issue from 100-200 with the highest 9.8 population is #194 which also has highest number of 9.6 and 9.4 and 9.2 AND 9.9!!!! - ASM 194 "rare" in high grade what a total frickin' LIE!
