  1. Joey won't be able to improve this book based on the number of spine stresses. It's a nice 9.6, but it won't be bumped up to a 9.8
  2. And I would say to that: where are they? Haven't seen a 9.9 in a loooong time. and by the way, why are there so few 9.9's of this book, given the number of submissions? I'd love the opportunity to own a 9.9
  3. Based upon some upcoming ebay auction closings, it would appear as though $13.5K +/- $25 will be the new normal for a CGC 9.6 this week, and moving into next week. Glad to see the book is finally starting to pick up steam in this grade.
  4. I find the Omnibus too large, bulky, and heavy for reading. The Marvel Masterworks are best for me, and they look really cool on my bookshelves...especially the variant hardcovers, but they are pricey, as Piper stated.
  5. Some very interesting pieces added to the miscellaneous section recently...Byrne, Rogers, Frazetta, Kirby & more.
  6. HI, all; I've consigned my ASM #210 in cgc 9.6 with white pages to Heritage auctions. The current bid is only $52 and the auction ends Sunday, Oct 4th. Here's a direct link to the item at auction: https://comics.ha.com/itm/modern-age-1980-present-/the-amazing-spider-man-210-marvel-1980-cgc-nm-96-white-pages/a/122040-11040.s?ic4=ListView-ShortDescription-071515
  7. $1K is a great price based on recent sales, many of which exceed $1.2K
  8. FWIW, its not just this book. ASM 252, Thor 337, Secret Wars 8, Hulk 340, and ASM 238 are but a few examples of books whose value in 9.8 have matched the pace of increase we see with ASM 300 currently.
  9. I recall that. Even though this ASM 300 run up has been nothing short of (ahem) Amazing, I am still buying 9.6's and 9.8's towards achieving my goal of getting back to 80 copies of this book.
  10. Sounds about right based upon sales during the past 7 days.
  11. ComicLink, a comic book and Original Comic Art website with fixed-priced as well as auction format sales.
  12. If I saw the book at $5K, I'd take a look at GPA and see that it was an outlier.
  13. The CGC 9.8 Blue label, white pages listed at $4K or best offer sold yesterday for $3.75K I will say that there are a few CGC 9.6's still in auction that are already at strong prices. It should be interesting to see where they end in the next few days. And in addition to the 9.4's-9.8's, it should be noted that 9.2's have really taken off during the past 6 weeks.
  14. Is it just me or did the owner of the $3250 CBCS 9.8 jack up the price to $3750?
  15. I just purchased one tonight from a boardie for $3.2K. The $4.9K is an outlier.
  16. Actually, the last sale was for $3.8K last nite on CLINK
  17. Geez, and that's for a Direct copy. Imagine what he'd ask for a Newsstand copy?
  18. I don't see 9.6's @ $2K presently for Blue Universal label copies. The average for Sept is perhaps a whisker over $1.2K, with a few outliers ($1.7K and $1.9K, respectively). However, given the current runup on 9.8's, I think its still a good time to grab a 9.6 at today's prices. $1.2K should seem like a good deal a few months from now
  19. Yup, and the 9.6 went for $1.3K, and the 9.4 went for $950
  20. It’s already at $3.7K, with 35 mins to go in the auction
  21. It should be noted the one for $3250 is slabbed by CBCS, not CGC
  22. Very true...those examples are definitely outliers. ive been searching eBay 3-4 times a days to find BINS such as the ones you’ve pointed out. Regarding the 9.8 on clink, it should go for $3.6K
  23. And I think the earliest McASM’s contained at least one panel with Felix the Cat!
