  1. Bagley JLA DPS = $688...prtty good deal for the lucky buyer!
  2. Bagley Asm 100 cvr recreation = $1.7k. Somebody got a good deal on that cause it would cost around $3K to commission it
  3. Wow! Some major pre-auction price jumps on the McWolverine Splash, Byrne Action cover, and Perez FF page
  4. Off the top of my head, Saviuk's output on Spidey titles falls well short of Sal Buscema, Mark Bagley and Jim Mooney.
  5. I know, right? The Perez Marvel Tales 261 cover is at $3.6K and looks stoopid cheap in comparison. Spiderman vs Hobgoblin. I used to own that cover and it is very nice.
  6. Whoa! The Perez Infinity Gauntlet page is already at $8.2K, and the other Perez listing are starting to heat up, too. Starlin stuff still seems cheap, for the moment. the Saviuk Web of Spidey cover is at $9.5K. WTF!!!
  7. So, getting back to the actual auction, has anyone else noticed the Byrne Avengers pages at $8K and $15.25k ?!
  8. Yes, it does matter when the auction ends, and there's several reasons why that's important, but someone more articulate should explain.
  9. Moreso for folks on the East Coast, some of these auctions end fairly late, and often beyond 11:30 so having the auctions on Thurs nite was better because you could show up for for a bit weary-eyed Friday morning and that was OK since nobody is as productive on Friday as they are earlier in the week.
  10. I completely agree that Tuesday is not a good day to wrap up an auction and I hope they revert back to Thursdays going forward.
  11. Well, looks like the JLA cover had another nice jump in price and is now at $37K+
  12. There are plenty of other pieces in this auction without a reserve price that are still very, very cheap currently. Bids will start coming Monday before the craziness begins on auction day, Tuesday
  13. Less than a week to go in the auction and things are starting to get interesting. Wondering if someone more on the ball can provide opinions on the following pieces: The Adams JLA 92 cover recently experienced a nice hike and now commands over $25K. Does this have a lot more room upwards or is this near the top? Byrne Action Comics 593 cover is at $7.8K. Will the cover settle north or $15K? North of $20K? Thoughts?
  14. Thanks! Do you recall if there was more than two Cockrum pages at this auction? I seem to recall 4 or 5 pages, and they all went for a healthy amount?
  15. Hi, all Not too long ago, comicconnect had several pages at auction from Uncanny X-Men 150 and if I recall, the auction results were rather healthy. Does anyone have a record of the prices for each of the pages? If not, is there any way to search comicconnect for previous auction results? Thanks, -Yoram
  16. Yeah, makes the DPS at the last Clink auction look like a steal
  17. Different strokes for different folks. I am not a fan of Kirby art, the FF, Andy Kubert art or Gambit. I stopped collecting Uncanny at issue #180 when I thought there was too many Mutants running around to keep track of. having said all of the above, and all things being equal, I would take the FF cover over the XMen cover without hesitation. I would even do so , again without hesitation, if someone offered the xmen cover + $75K in exchange for the Kirby FF. quite frankly, I don't think Gambit is as big a deal as a few vocal folks are making him out to be.
