Beautiful cover!
But why are the gals wearing makeup in the middle of the night?

That was a beautiful tribute to your dad. He was a special man, always there for those who needed him.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Scott.

The three issue trilogy of ASM 31 to 33 is a great read.
Not that I would crack open that beautiful slab to read it.

I should have the books in hand by the end of the month (I think!) so I can PM you when they arrive.
I'll be watching for your PM. Thanks!

Will you be offering any copies of issue #1 for sale on the boards?
I thought I had more time to make a Kickstarter pledge. I got shut out.

Congratulations Scott! The Kickstarter page looks great!

Good luck with the hunt!
I purchased the bulk of my ASM collection 20 years ago, and finally completed it these last 2 years. My collection is lower grade, but I would not be able to afford it at today's prices.
I'm working on completing a separate coverless run of #1 to #10 now.
It's tougher than you'd think.

The cover looks great, thanks for the preview too.
For anyone who wants to know more about your inspiration for this project, many issues of Boy Comics can be read online here:

Haven't seen any 9.8's for sale. They must be in the box.

Having the delivery person sign for the package defeats the purpose of having signature confirmation. There was a recent thread that detailed how 2 rare Golden Age comics went missing after being sent to the wrong place. The comics were delivered (signature confirmation) to a comic shop. The owner said he didn't have the books and didn't recognize the signature on the receipt. I assumed it was a customer or employee who signed for it, but now you've got me wondering.

That Flash #128 is a neat cover, great artwork that draws you in. Makes me want to read the story to find out what the heck is going on!
Nice haul. You should post a current spreadsheet with each new update, I'd certainly send you links to some good deals on the missing books.
I'm somewhat surprised that most of these issues haven't come from the boards. I only collect 1 of the 10 titles you're looking for, so I'm no help at all. I'll check to see if I have any ASM duplicates.

Thank you for taking me behind the scenes to see the processes involved in creating this. The concept is wonderful, and I am eagerly awaiting each update. Trixie is an inspired choice for a new character.

i think the #1 issues alone now will bust your budget but you have a nice collection so far !!
I was concerned about that, too. Didn't want to discourage him.

Have you been getting any offers from boardies, or are unsolicited offers against the rules? No, I don't have any for sale, just asking.
It's a neat thread, keep 'em coming.

I started using GPAnalysis a few days ago, it costs $11 each month, or $119 yearly. It tracks the sale price of each CGC issue over time, and shows current auctions too. I think it would be very useful in determining how much to budget for each book, at the highest affordable grade.
I'm really intrigued by this task you've undertaken, and wish you the best of luck. Don't forget to post in the Want To Buy thread (maybe you already have), it is a great resource.

Heckuva deal on the ASM #9. Congrats!
