  1. I don't believe in coincidences. The 1975 film "Soylent Green" was set in 2022, the year I turn 66. You'll understand my dilemma if you've seen the movie.
  2. The question is, was the polynomial generated years ago, or recently?
  3. Doesn't a 4th degree polynomial have 4 solutions?
  4. I read this issue as a kid, and the 'Those who change' story struck a chord with me, too. 50+ years later, I picked up an Amazing Adult Fantasy #10, which is where the story first appeared.
  5. It isn't just packages that are a problem. First class mail is iffy too. I talked my wife into changing our monthly broadband bill to electronic payment because the bill would arrive just a few days before it was due.
  6. Weird how addictions are. I tried the nicotine patch, but I still kept trying to log in.
  7. I think it would be nice of you guys to celebrate your emergence from darkness with a token gesture of appreciation. Maybe an 80% off GPA sale now? I'm waiting...
  8. I've never submitted a claim for a damaged item. Does USPS pay the insured value and keep the book?
  9. You and I both have old guys selective memory syndrome. We can remember exactly what that issue said, but have no idea what issue it was.
  10. Yikes! I thought she looked like Alfred E. Neuman's sister too!
  11. I always found it odd that Spidey would risk divulging his secret identity to this hoodlum.
  12. Nauseating. Stan should have signed the splash page, below the artwork.
  13. John! Why isn't that Archie 50 in a CGC case on your display rack? Put it right next to your 9.2 Archie #49.
  14. I have an ASM 129 with slight rust on the staples. I'm considering having them cleaned or replaced. The book itself presents very well.
  15. I would buy one, would have to resist the urge to read it.
  16. Ebay ruined the search function years ago when they removed the ability to do a wildcard search. They said it was taking too many processor cycles or some such b.s.
  17. How was CGC able to grade it if it couldn't be fully opened?
