a professional inker / colorist /artist could color that section in. How much would they charge? I also assume they would not be local to you so now you are shipping it. As a professional artist myself I wouldn't take this project on because I know in advance the likelihood of matching the color perfectly is zero and as the customer would you be happy? In the end no matter how well executed the fix is I guarantee you would still notice it. Sounds simpler to buy another copy for under $100

it could be done if the person you want to sign the book first registers as a creator. Then have them sign the book with CGC as witness.

the information is in the graders notes and is stated as "cover cleaned", see attached examples which are the books that the Youtube user "Improve-Collecting Comics" discussed in the video posted earlier in this very thread on page 1. My guess is CGC is detecting wet cleaning residue not removed properly/entirely OR restoration that was there before the submitter even performed his cleaning to the book.

These 4 books we acquired when we bought a large local collection. We had tried selling them as raw unslabbed, then during a show we looked at them and we decided to get them graded so we could sell them on an online channel.

I still laugh at these super villain panels: Thanos arrested and taken away by police in handcuffs, and Darkseid mugged.

I would love to see a well done Braniac film, where the serious tone of that character drives the narrative. The type of humor prevalent in the superhero films only works if the story is excellent in the first place.

...and no offense to the artist but it isn't very good. I have no issue with creating a cover like this ( I have done it a few times myself) but I think it should be mentioned in the auction that the cover is a fan-made creation attached to a real comic interior.

I watch many of his videos and a few comments: -Absorene is chemical cleaning. It may be detectable by CGC now -CGC may be able to detect the blue light whitening he does -He does not know if anything was done to the book before he acquired it. -he needs to acknowledge that once the book has left his hands things can happen to it even while at CGC: it can get bumped, dropped, damaged during encapsulation, etc.

I did not like Kang in Quantumania so honestly i hope they do recast him: to a better villain. We have seen him defeated/killed already the last time by a bunch of ants. Having multiple copies of the same character doesn't make him more threatening or interesting.

I recommend saving your money. You already know it will be worse than the previous film and the proof is the images that have been released. Rainbow colored space suits just is not a good idea, and the decision to do that is for what reason? Is it because it is funny ( it isn't ) so therefore my assumption is it is for toy sales.

Yes, hopefully it improves what is shown. For now "Wahaaaaahhhaaaaaaa" turns me off, it isn't funny in the slightest to this old fuddy duddy. I do want the film to do well enough that they keep making content. Maybe eventually the pendulum swings back in the serious direction

I didn't like The Marvel's teaser trailer because what they chose to show me did not appeal to me. The young Ms. Marvel character "waaahaaahhaaaaa...oh hi Nick Fury", then when they go to her home, then the interaction with the Cat/Flerkin which was more "waaahaaahhaaaaa". I just thought it was very bad. Then I see this fan made trailer, and it completely changes how I could feel about the film. Watch this, it is very well done. ...unfortunately it isn't real. What it tells me is that I am not interested in the goofball silly Marvel movies that they make, therefore I am not the target audience, therefore I have no need to go see the film. I just do not enjoy that style of movie when I know they have the potential capability of creating a film akin to the Winter Soldier (which is still my favorite Marvel movie). That is the kind of film I want and if the characters they are choosing to use do not fit a movie like that then I would rather they make something else with characters that fit a quality production like that. It has nothing to do with whether the film is female led. One of my favorite movies ever is Aliens with Sigourney Weaver. That film still captivates me even today 37 years later I absolutely love it. I just want quality with a more serious tone with the failing humor dialed down several notches.

I am surprised it went for 26 pages, there might be more to come. The lesson to take from the entire thread is: One person might like something, but I can guarantee you that another person does not like it especially on the internet!

I like it as well, the movie is somewhat unique and is worth a view. And I will post another "sorry for the thread hijack" but it is sort of related at least.
