  1. I would leave them as they are. Grading them through CGC the COA's mean nothing, CGC only validates signatures they witness so your books would be viewed as having writing on them which will lower the grades. Additionally I see some condition issues on your books such as spine ticks that will keep them out of the very high end of grades. Last concern is the values of these books when graded. I looked them up in GPA and these books are worth $50-$100-$150 each and if you consider costs of shipping + clean and press + grading in my opinion it isn't cost effective. Keep them as they are and enjoy them.
  2. I have never played the video game so I know nothing about any of the characters. I watched the last episode, and I did enjoy it my only nitpick is due to how woke Hollywood is these days I knew very quickly in the episode that the girls would end up kissing. I do not have a problem with it, but I am at the point where I think it would have been refreshing if the girls were just friends who shared a day instead of having to add sexuality into the story.
  3. My first story is how i got into comics. I grew up on a farm in the west end of the city i live in, today that area is car dealerships and a Walmart super-center. One day my father told me we were going into the city to buy some lunch meats. My dad liked to eat lunch meats on rye bread with hot mustard, and back in the early 1970's you had to go to specialty shops to buy that stuff. In to the city we went and when we arrived my dad dug a few coins out of his pocket and told me to "go to that comic store and buy some comics". The store was called Paul's Book Store, he dealt mostly in used books and comics. He had stacks of comics on shelves and sold the books at half cover. The very first book that caught my eye was Fantastic Four 112. The black cover and the powerful looking characters about to duke it out was very appealing. How could a 5 year old resist? I still have the book i purchased, i am amazed it has survived all these years. Thank you Dad for starting me off on reading and collecting comics.
  4. The first comic i ever bought was when i was 5 years old and it is remarkable that i still have the very copy i bought. Fantastic Four 112
  5. It has been discussed for years on these boards. Here is the main thread regarding it.
  6. it is noted on the cgc label for World War Hulk #5. Skarr appears at the end of the book coming out of a pool in a single panel. This should be a cameo instead as it is very much like Hulk #180 except Skarr has no dialogue nor is he named. I agree with you, it should be the What If.
  7. If I was Ajax I would follow the sun around the world to always be powerful. Guess he didn't consider that.
  8. I think Quantumania and Wakanda Forever are both worse than Eternals. Quantumania and Wakanda Forever share something extremely annoying: teen girl with attitude who is super amazing and can build the ultra tech gadget in the garage that supposedly drives the narrative. Cassie built the Quantum search device that somehow opens a portal to the quantum realm. Ri-Ri built the vibranium detection device AND her "Ironman" suit. Cassie and Ri-Ri are both awful. And I feel it needs to be said: Marvel these characters absolutely do not replace Ant-Man and Iron Man in your very bleak future.
  9. They desperately need to focus on quality over quantity and if Iger thought Antman 3 was quality And GoTG 3 isn't going to be quality either. Just look at the movie poster: the characters barely resemble themselves and appear androgynous. And be honest, are any of you actually excited for The Marvels? Here is the supposed upcoming lineup, and I am not excited for any of it now: Secret Invasion (Spring 2023, Disney Plus) Guardians of the Galaxy 3 (May 5, 2023, movie) Echo (Summer 2023, Disney Plus) Loki season 2 (Summer 2023, Disney Plus) The Marvels (July 28, 2023, movie) Ironheart (Fall 2023, Disney Plus)
  10. so I don't want to be negative on these Marvel films but this will be an "I told you so" post and this opinion is based on the current MCU trend. I really do not think Marvel has made anything great in a long time now and based on my viewing of Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania my prediction is the 3rd GoTG film will be more of the same: below average. The 1st Antman was great, a solid an entertaining film that I give 8 out of 10. The second Antman was entertaining but it wasn't as good as the first it is like a 6.5 film. Then the latest is a dreadful film I rate 4 out of 10. GoTG will follow this exact trend. I loved the first GoTG, I would give it an 8 out of 10. The second was ok, 6.0 out of 10 average. The 3rd? A downward trend predicted. Here is an image comparison from a video I just watched. This is Nebula from the GoTG 3 movie poster vs what she used to look like. All I can say is WHAT ARE YOU DOING MARVEL?????
  11. I actually do have an interest in seeing this film. Why? Because the premise is silly, the trailers look silly and this film will likely deliver on some dumb fun and laughs.
