  1. The books you have shown are VG or less. My estimate is assume 50% of VG guide. Also there is no guarantee the books will sell at all. Good luck!
  2. Nice! These Canadian Editions are very tough to find. Your copy has wonderful colors, especially the red. here is my set:
  3. Agreed. It has a "sister" GSXM 1 that I recall seeing that is exactly like this somewhere out there, and this Xmen 94:
  4. Agreed. There is also the indication that the book has some slight tanning. I am around 4.5-5.0, it is very similar to my Startling Terror Tales 11. And FYI: I absolutely LOVE the advert on the back cover. Put some doofy looking contraption on yourself wherever you would like to lose weight and it will be gone! The Spot Reducer!
  5. If that is what you want to be doing then go for it! I wish you all the best.
  6. thanks for sharing. Even more valuable information.
  7. good point. Maybe the Op has a whole bunch of friends all over the world he can mail copies to.
  8. also: This valuation is for a single 20 page comic. What if the OP's story requires multiple books?
  9. Yes, I enjoyed Faust, and I really like this page:
  10. Have not got to that point yet. I did have to take the wheels off my cart though. Also have had to leave empty boxes behind.
  11. arguably my favorite cover from the Savage Sword run. Fantastic pick up!
  12. nice look! Reminds me of the writing by the alien creatures from the movie Arrival. A 3 dimensional representation of it.
  13. it is unfortunate that the book was given color touch. The CT does nothing to improve the book's grade in my opinion. Yes it would get purple label, as I would not call that amount of color touch minor.
  14. that book sat on the walls of a comic store for years exposed to the sun to get that badly faded. I think 3.0-4.0 range is correct. Send it in, see what they say!
  15. or sad to learn that it will likely cost him $10,000 to get his story made into a comic and then he will have only 1000 copies to try to sell to recoup his costs and compensate himself for the writing.
  16. I am not sure, all I know is the better the cover the more likely the book will sell. Getting someone like Adam Hughes, or Campbell or Finch to do your cover may not be a terrible idea. Easily more marketable - new book with cover drawn by Hughes! will sell more.
  17. well said, and thank you for adding your experiences to this discussion.
