  1. That is one cool cover! (The more time I spend on these boards, the more my want list just grows, and grows, and grows...) awesome copy of the book as well. 3. http://comics.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=121310&lotNo=12118&lotIdNo=39049 Another 5.0 type copy sells in excess of 1k, and with buyer premium is over 1200.00 This book is HOT right now.
  4. Latest commission: I am still available for commissions.
  5. Do you have a copy, Adam? I'd love to see it if you do. No I do have a copy of another issue with a title unlikely to ever get off the ground. While Mountain Very cool cover! On a related note I have started collecting precode horror books with "The Walking Dead" on the cover. I have Astonishing 10 and Menace 9...anyone know of any others? I have branched out to include the dead who Walk as well. I can't wait to have fun on local comic conventions if someone asks me if I have any walking dead books Here are a few (thanks to GCD). Dark Mysteries #16, Phantom Lady #15, This Mag is Haunted #6 and Web of Evil #12. Thank you!

  7. Grats, I was wondering who bought it. I had it, and the CGC 4.0 that sold 2 hours earlier on watch and was going to buy one of them. Both copies went for more than I was prepared to bid. Indicative of current prices for that book, I think you paid "going market".
  8. One tough book! Anything interesting inside? All the artwork is unsigned. No one noteworthy. It has a cool dinosaur story and some lingerie panels. The best thing is the great cover. Agree! very cool cover I have never seen before
  9. Not even close. So you are saying my 20k estimate is lofty? What do you think? 8.0 cgc copy sold for 1k in 2007 You are probably right. High grade classic cover PCH has had some amazing prices realized lately, and I don't doubt the 8.0 would sell easily for 3 -4 times that now, but I never got the impression that PCH collectors were like Silver/Bronze collectors, paying big multiples for highest graded copies. I'd be surprised to see any 9.2 PCH book reach anywhere near 20K - but 10K? It's just a matter of time if it hasn't happened already, I am thinking the Beware 10 has the same desireability as the Weird Mysteries 5 "brain" cover for example. In Aug 2012 a 6.5 sold for $6760. Is it that much of a stretch to consider a 9.2 Beware 10 highest graded/ known copy to see 15-20k?. It is interesting to speculate.
  10. Very cool book that is, I am bidding on a different book though so I am passing on that one.

  12. Would love to see these books in hand. The BCM 50 looks incredible, and the reds on the WTotF are amazing. Thanks for posting.
  13. curious what the price of the Beware 10 is. I know you would never sell it, but I wonder what is the value of such a rare book in that grade? 20K? If it came to market and was on heritage, would it go beyond 20k? The highest graded known copy? I think very likely beyond 20k
  14. It is one thing to take your time and line up a shot, another to be shooting while taking on hostile fire. You take the time to aim and line up your shot while someone else is shooting in your general direction you end up dead.
  15. Cool books. The Beware terror Tales has suddenly been added to my MUST HAVE list. Love this thread! My wallet isn't so fond...
  16. Old thread bump, but as the starter of this thread I thought I would report I finally have a comic spinner. Thanks very much to Mike of Phoenix Comics in Calgary for the spinner. Once I get it finished the way i want it, I will post a pic.
  17. WOW. Just wow, man! Mine is a Fine and it's probably never going to be upgraded. That is a sweet looking book right there. (thumbs u agreed, looks fabulous
