  1. , that made my morning! +1 I "thing" this is great!
  2. Tough book to find in decent grade, trust me I have been looking.
  3. I am not loyal to any specific eraser I use several different including all the ones discussed already.
  4. Is that a Spider-Man Final Chapter issue? What is that doing at a Con? Sure don't want it at home! SOLD!
  5. The display we use for our shows is from Home depot. it is metal, and easily put together and held in place with plastic ties. the Shelves can be adjusted in height depending on whether you want to display CGC slabs or raw books. The Rack in the pics below is 4 racks wide ( 20 feet ) Also a pic in Page 3 of this thread: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=5641099&fpart=1
  6. Thanks! What doesn't show up in the scan is how vibrant the red on the cover is. It has excellent gloss as well. It is definitely a keeper and quite the upgrade from my previous copy ( which was a 1.5 at best ).
  7. Weird Tales of the Future #2 Holy Krap what a beautiful book. I need to get a drool cup. sartre, this is one of the nicest books I have ever seen on the boards. Uber congrats. There's so much action on that cover. Monsters, buildings collapsing, bombs exploding, people falling off of buildings. It's bedlam I tell you. Would be something to see that book first hand. Those colors look spectacular.
  8. I am thinking some kind of spinning base could be attached to that rack so it would "spin". Something like a fan base, lamp base?
  9. I saw one of these for sale on Ebay a few months ago but the seller wouldn't ship it to Canada. Looks great! Still working on acquiring mine, I have a great lead and hope to have it home soon. Thanks to Mike of Phoenix comics.
  10. Your dell spinner is my favorite and I wish I could get one.
  11. I just can't get into this show, I have tried but as I watch it all I see is the same CW formula from Smallville and I have had my fill of it.
  12. awesome copy. I love that book! ( see avatar )
  13. I still seek one of these. Is a guy that is semi local to me ( he lives in the same province ) but it is a 3 and a half hour drive to his location. I am not willing to drive all the way there and then back and I am not getting an awesome deal on the rack he has. He wont ship it. Shipping is costly on such a large cumbersome item
  14. several: 1. Iron Man number 1 waaaay back in 1983. Guide in Mint was 40.00 and the copy I had was spectacular and looked never read untouched. I sold it to a local comic shop owner who *had* to have it and offered me 50 bucks for it. 10 dollars over guide??? I will take it! The book now resides in a CGC 9.9 white pages slab. 2. Hulk #1 cgc 1.5 blue label. Possibly the nicest Hulk 1 in grade I have ever seen. 3. Crime Suspenstories 22. Sold it at the last Calgary comic con. Why do I regret it? Because at the time I thought " I can always get another one." Suddenly it seems the book has quadrupled in value.
  15. I am hoping they redeem Andrea's character. Right now, at this moment, she bears no resemblance to Andrea from the books other than her name. None. None at all. Help me out here guys, how is Andrea in the comics? Other than the excellent marksman, what do you see in the comics that makes her different than the show? She's way too easily influenced by men...Shane last season and Gov this season. Of course in the comic she was living On Golden Pond for so many issues with Dale so who's to say I guess? Yes. She is to easily influenced by men. In the comics she ends up in a relationship with...Dale??? A mini relationship that didn't really go anywhere with Spencer and then later Rick. She hooked up with Dale first because he could provide shelter in his RV ( she admitted this in the comics ) and later because of his moral standing. She and Spencer took awhile to get going mostly because Dale had just died so it never got the chance to go beyond a slow beginning. But why hook up with Spencer? He makes advances, she starts to see a guy that can provide a better standing ( he is the son of Douglas who is the leader of this new community...puts her in a better position in the society if she hooks up with this guy ) She hooks up with Rick because of his leadership qualities. It is also a lack of other options. Andrea needs a man in her life and seemingly she will latch on to any man that exhibits some quality she needs in her life and this behavior is the same in the comics and the TV show.
