  1. Pro with low grade first prints there are very very far from few that anyone would at this point sell. Mid range to lower are very scare in first print. Even if we were to see a say a 4-5.0 those would most certainty be up around 7-9k without a doubt.
  2. Not bad I was spot on.. Collectors have to realise it’s a 2nd print so any expectations of a 9.6 going over let’s say 9-10k will eventually happen but for the most part the first print is always going to be the Gorilla in the room and why there is so limited qualities and so much demand for that Action Comics #1 of the copper age..
  3. That’s it let the hate flow through u haha
  4. I was def thinking the same thing 17-17500 buuuuuuut yah never know
  5. These books have been so undervalued for too long and finally due justice now
  6. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-1-FIRST-PRINT-CGC-8-5/264837307360?hash=item3da9889be0:g:7PQAAOSwubdfPKid who’s gonna call it finally price tag??
  7. Well played good sir well played indeed 👏👏👏
  8. Hmm Action 1 would be nice but I’m sitting on a nice high grade that u only wish u had.. Ahh jealousy it is a ugly thing to have.. 🥺
  9. Again to add my two cents... Anyone who got in to buy a Tmnt 1 high grade of course it’s great to see prices hiking the way it is. But again throwing in a monkey wrench into the conversation because someone didn’t get a higher grade is pure jealousy nothing more.
  10. On the contrary Charlie I know a lot about economics especially in comics and the prices from the past to present and what people were paying back when and present.
  11. Comparing the decades it took a book to reach over 50,000 regardless of grade is irrelevant as Superman 1 nor Batman #1 achieved such a feet in its 35 yr age..
  12. 35,000 print run in 1985 was scarce beyond any book in the 80s or 90s. Albedo 2 is a exception at 2000
  13. If u read my post properly ud see I'm not comparing the history of Superman 1 to TMNT 1.. Im taking about the 35-36yr age that TMNT 1 has hit 70k well before Superman 1 in the span of 35yrs. 35yrs later 1939-1974 Superman 1 was not a 70k book let alone 20k.. So,if u want to debate on numbers there's the facts Jack... Superman 1 is king but in 35-36yrs old TMNT 1 is the winner.. Can't fight fate mate
  14. How long did it take Superman 1 to hit 70k????? Hmmm let that digest for a good long week while cause I’m pretty sure it took over 35+++yrs while Tmnt 1 did that in 35.. As Ralphie once said ooooooooo!! 👏👏😳
  15. Oh yah well here’s one better....And In the words of Bennet or AKA from Commando... If Matrix was here he would laugh at u too.
  16. Il be the first to say “hell no” would I sell my sweet high grade Tmnt 1 right now for 60k let alone 100k.. You wanna make presuming predictions then here it is.. Prices today like Superman 1 in 2010 were a drop in the bucket compare to what we will see 10yrs from now.. Shake and Bake that just happend!!!!
  17. Cerebus #1 does not have the fan base as Tmnt does from the cartons to the toys or Nickelodeon.. Cerebus is a niche book Tmnt 1 is a grail book big big difference..
  18. I’d be crying like poor ol Charlie Brown also if had a 7.0 and wanted a juicy over 9.0 grade aaaah rocks for Halloween 🎃 what’s a Charlie Brown to do... Don’t hate the players man hate the game
  19. Ur forgetting that Tmnt #1 first print is only 3250 And yes that is the limiting factor why it’s fetching massive prices. Name another book from the 6070/80s that had a lower print run 🤔🤔🤔🤔 still waiting..........
  20. A 9.6 selling for 18k!!! while a 7.5 selling for 12,500 just this month.. Hold my soda while I eat my popcorn and wait for that massive collapse and drop
  21. He never mentioned doubled he said was it a bad idea to invest in say Hulk 181 in 2010 at 36yrs old and so on.. Pandemic or not people have money regadless of what in life is happening..
  22. Brilliant way u put that.... Bravo!! Couldn't have written that better myself.. A person who purchased Action comics #1 in 1970 I believe payed 1500 for it back then. He said if it goes up to 10,000 in a decade or 2 he would be extremely happy.. Understatement and yet TMNT #1 first print is the lowest printed book of all time when u look at the popularity and the solid foundation it has takes for 36yrs.. You ain't seen nothing yet if u think the prices right now are high.. Hold onto ur first prints fellas it's about to go nuclear.. 👍💥
