  1. Iv owned over 10-11 copies before but as one boardie said, they don't show up as often anymore.. Still have multiple copies and glad I put them away.
  2. When i hear "crash" it means the collectors get angry because they never got a chance to grab the book when they should of.. In 2010/11 you could have easily grabbed a AF 15 say a Gd- for under 2k but some just let that ship sale. And today could of should have but yah didn't is what is dancing in your heads now... Don't blame the market blame yourself if you didn't grab one or more..
  3. Whoever the buyer was got this book for a bargain.. A 2.0 on eBay yesterday sold for shy of 16,000.. So this player got it for a steal now..
  4. Action 1 to Detec 27 lower grades will "NEVER" flatline.. They will always increase. Whoever though someone would pay 3.1 million for a Action comics #1.. Well they did.. It's like saying who would pay 50 million for a Van Gogh well there are..
  5. A crash is not immenent nor has there ever been one for golden/silver/Bronze Age books.. Since the dawn of Superman in 1938 comics have continued to rise every decade and has never shown any recession unless you talk about modern variants that collapsed that portion of the market in the 90s.. Amazing Fantasy 15 is the top 3 book when it comes to superheroes!,,Superman/Batman/Spiderman...Action 1 to Detec 27 then Spidemans first appearance AF 15.. Spiderman has been prob more popular then ever with children to adults trying to get a piece of history. Prob is the book to my understanding has been way undervalued for so long and since 2010/11 things finally started to shake up and make this book for what it is. A historic book that should not be overlooked any more.. So to say the bubble will crash on this book is like saying it will happen to a Action 1 to a Detec 27.. Not a chance, because so many people who invest in stocks who have huge wallets are turning to comics for a better return. As long as humans have a society there will always be a collector..
  6. $6359.00 for a .5 grade ?..so a 1.0 def will get a 11k sale eventually.
  7. I don't think in time some marvel chipping is gonna be a make or break deal when it comes to a AF 15. They were more abundant the books at market a few yrs ago especially in 2012. But today it seams the market is slimming down on decent looking copies.
  8. Gator a expect on mc vs non mc AF 15s That's like saying Bill Nye the Science guy is a expert in Science ?
  9. I def remember a 5.0 getting 10k 5yrs ago ur right... How times have changed and a 1.5 is def at 10-11k today as a entry level
  10. I hoarded plenty of copies when they were still relatively affordable..They ain't going anywhere but in the book shelf for Amazing viewing pleasure
  11. It's amazing how everyone was complaining how expensive the book was in 2011 at less then 3k for a good copy. Today it seems sure il pay 3k now but that boat has set sailed eons ago.. Funny how people just didn't see the grail in that book when they should have bought it..
  12. Been following the lower grades for yrs and yrs and the lower grades from 1.0-4.0 have been stagnant for 2yrs in price on a large scale since spring of this yr. Prices pushed steady since 2012 til 2015 Dec,but remained stable since then up until this yrs push again.
  13. Book has been on hiatus for a yr or so on lower grades to mid grades up until this early spring where prices started to move again. Especially when Comicconnect had a few mid grade copies that looked beautul how they presented. This is when they started to be appreciated more for the eye appeal instead of the grades now, garnering stronger prices then ever before.
  14. I remember a time when a Gd+ AF 15 was going for 3k in 2011 and a 5.0 shy of 10k.. Book is solid as gold like a Action 1
  15. Like I mentioned before with say a budget of 800.00 on a piticular book that always makes gains even if it's 10% a yr is more money then a bank will ever give u and that's the fact. For every nook u get thsts a good key issue in the end all the books equal amazing investment one day earned. With that being said my pics would be these. ASM 14 5.0-6.0 grade ASM 50 7.0-7.5 grade , Batman 181 7.0, AF 15 loose pages 1-6....pages 1,3,6 I would def grab as they are the corner stone to Spider-Man's origin. Loose pages from the origin in AF 15 is gold in the future.
  16. ASM 14 is a blue chip book especially a mid grade and good page quality. There isn't any high grades that's gonna cover u for 800 unless it's a Spiderman 50 for a 7.0 grade. Or a dead horse mule like a Nm 98 book
  17. I would suggest ASM 50 even a 7.0-7.5 would be a great book as prices on that book are increasing every yr as well as ASM 14 in a 5.0 mid grade. That book slowly gains at a nice rate also. But let's not forget a Bronze Age goodness that's like a AF 15 for that era "Hulk 181" even a 3-4.0 would be a nice pick up also as that book is IMO a sold blue chip book even in mid grades as more and more collectors down the road will always be picking them up plus with the higher grades the lower ones eventually will end up being in the four figures.
