  1. Knull and Iris the Virus hahahha I love when u see fools who part with their money on those books.. It makes me laugh and if Matrix was here he'd laugh too..😂😂 "Commando"
  2. Limited supply will always lower the demand? U have that wrong my friend,,if anything a limited supply will always have a stronger demand. Which is why the book is pushing harder then ever before. If supply's were limited and the demand so weak then I guess that 9.8 that sold over 70k was a fluke right... 😳😐
  3. This is a incredible book to say the least and I agree majority of the first prints especially the lower to mid and high end grades are locked up in collectors vaults now. This is why when u see a first print hit the market collectors know dam well it's gonna fetch a premium because there not abundant like some Silver age or Bronze Age keys.
  4. Comic book movies does to a point drive some books up but not always the limiting factor.. Look at UF4 for example the movie Into the Spider-verse was a great Spider-Man movie very well portrayed characters as Miles to Spider-Gwen. Did that move drive up the prices yes and no but nothing like we have seen this spring.. In 2018 Dec the UF4 9.8 was hovering around 150-200.00 average. I bought a copy for 200.00 a Sig Series 9.8. Did the movie really push it into 400-450 no not even close back then. Then u get a video game announcement and the world goes crazy for Miles and UF4 first prints to the 1:25 variant.. Is this a artificially pumped up? Yes I'm my opionin. Is the book worth 1000 9.8 or 9,000 for a 9.8 variant absolutely not.. Same goes for TMNT books right now they are a different animal. These Turtles have been popular since the 80s I grew up with them in the 80s and seen first hand as a kid the frenzy the toys to the cartoons were doing to establish these Turtles as a solid creation that Kevin and Peter gave us. Prices are going up as did Hulk 181s to GSX-men 1 did and now it's Turtle time. There is no ceiling on a comic and what one is willing to pay. If u have the money and want to buy it the door is always open to what someone is willing to sell a copy for..Not just #1 issues that are going higher it's the 2nd to 3rd/4rth and Raphael #1 that has all shot up recently..and will continue to do so. For how long who knows just enjoy the ride Cowabunga
  5. All I can say is whoever payed 9,000 for a UF4 9.8 variant is one smart investor lmao 😂.. A fool and his money....
  6. U mean 3rd print is also unsustainable. It will level out also eventually. Not yet as 2nd prints are going wild still..
  7. Supply and demand... when a book isn’t much in supply the demand is greater that’s the law of anything. If u have funds that allowed u to buy a book that’s very hard to obtain but so many want to possess its human nature to want something others desire but can’t due to the funds it takes to achieve it
  8. And by the way yes.. Tmnt #1 first print is the Action comics or Af 15 of the copper era. You can dispute that til u see a sat night hooker in church on a Sunday morning
  9. Circle of jerks? then I guess ur part of the crowd then.. When a defensive person is putting down a book put they want It seams to me we have a unusual predicament now don’t u 🤔 think
  10. Let’s just say when someone missed the boat when Isac Hays was serving the Bloody Mary’s they get really bitter when we’re all getting hammered and happy while the dock is empty and it says maybe next time
  11. If that’s the case why not find a Af 15 4.0 or 5.0 there’s plenty for sale on the net..
  12. Haha.. so ur saying there’s a chance to own a first print high grade and no one is selling “Dynomite”!!!! 😂
  13. Would I want to sell or trade my 9.4 white mmmm beautiful white pages first print aaaaah no!! Lol
  14. Seems to me someone is not happy with there grade they have and can’t find a higher one and is now shell shocked!! To say the least on someone not willing to sell 👏👏
  15. Inflated market?? Umm I think I missed the part when I heard “inflated market” on Tmnt #1... When u have over a billion dollar industry that is promoting the Tmnt cartoons to toys to comic books and everything u can market is hardly say it’s a inflated market especially on the very first print or multiple printings.. As to say it won’t be relevant and can’t compare to Batman or Spiderman is a insult to a phenomenon that has been going on since the 80s.. As far as disappeared?? When have they disappeared?? It’s the real collectors who bought the books well before this so called inflation started happening..How’s this one grab u..in 2012 did anyone care about the Xmen1 books to FF 1 books when they were stagnant as a piece of Mold on cheese!! Hell no!!!! I was buying them for 2k for mid grades because they're were no hypes only because of pure love of the characters because no huge company like Disney owned them.. Now when the prospect of a new owner to Marvel takes over the wild ride of collectors wants to get in on the gravy train now. So to sum it up Ninja turtles was far more popular in the 80s/90s then u can imagine. Stats don’t lie...
  16. Look what hulk 181 did a few years ago it went crazy for months doubling in prices and now stabilised. Every book does but the thing some collectors don't realise is this TMNT 1 first print was extremely low which is like Action comics 1 of our time to,say the least. And any grade that is over 9.0 is scarce. Supply and demand is what prompted this book and will continue to do so as supply's are not enough to keep up with demand which is why the first prints are fetching incredible prices. Next best thing is the second print to 3rd..All tides lift all ships
  17. If it's not a good investment Charlie then why did u post looking for a 8.0-9.6 TMNT 1... We all know this TMNT 1 is a grail a white whale and there is a huge following to the Turtles as there is to Spider-Man.. It's like saying who's going to care about Batman in 10-20yrs that's the most absurd thing I would have to say also.. Every collector has a new one behind them and if someone is willing to spend 20-50k for a book today who is to stop someome from spending 100k no one.. Action comics 1 went over and beyond a million over 8yrs ago and who would have thought it would no one. There is no limit when it comes who and how much a collector is willing to spend its all relevant to what a person has and is willing to spend.. So yes the ones who got in early are the lucky ones...
  18. Who's going to care about the turtles in 10-20yrs?? The ones who, have a first print and the ones who missed out .. Drop the mic....
  19. Haha I got 5 kids to feed said the late great Benny from Total Recall... Ah mess I ain't even married.. 😂
  20. Yah I don't blame u. I like my issues that are high grades blue labels untouched..yellow I don't mind but not in high grade #1s
  21. 9.4 first print selling for 4,125 in 2010 and today prob over 30k 2020.. 10yrs is something u can be shocked at but yet prob not.. Superman 1 1.8 sold for 21,000 in 2012 and yet a 1.8 would get u over 100k today..
  22. Here’s my prediction and my prediction and no one knows the future values only to say they go up with time. Let’s take a look at the first printing past prices which I have shown. Yes would anyone back then a few years ago even 4-5yrs ago say prices would be where they are now? I mentioned to a good friend of mine early this yr a 9.8 don’t be surprised it could hit 90-100k In the next 2-3yrs which closely did that or close enough this year!!!!!! 2020.... Now as far as 2nd prints and 3rd prints yes they are still the first appearance regardless..They are not reprints they are 2/3rd printings. Reprints are books that are altered books From prices to size of the book or altered art work that were done many many years after the fact the book has been well established.. Is ULTIMATE Fallout 4 2/3rd prints reprints? No point being said. The second print has 6,000 printing which to to me says yes a 9.8 will hit 10-20-30k compare to the first print.. 3rd printing will to me hit 5-10k without a doubt regardless it being 24k more in printing. Superman #1 in 1939 had 2 printings that most dont know about, and no there isn’t a difference that can be seen but the first printings sold so quick they printed many many more in the second run. Would that be considered a reprint then.. of course not..
