  1. Less then 800 on the CGC census for the first print will keep this book a golden goose for collectors and the market. Hulk 181 ain't got nothing on the Turtles #1 first print especially when grade per grade the TMNT #1 first print is squashing it. A 7.0 TMNT first print is over 10k now while a 7.0 hulk 181 isn't even over 3500-4K Cowaaabunnnga!!!!!
  2. Yah it's gonna be hard pressed dude to grab anything over 9.0 now as they are unicorns to find. And everytime u turn 360 DGRs the book jumps again whenever u see a first print hit the market.. I feel higher prices on the first prints are making the book more scarce down the tracks then what we've seen in the past few months. Harder for collectors to let them go.
  3. 3rd printing yes it may be higher in printing but in regards to the first and second that is unfair to say it should be worth much less. As iv mentioned before 30,000 print run in 1980s is a drop in the bucket next to the massive over 100/200k print runs of the 80s. Even hulk 181 had a over 200,000 print run if I’m not mistaken. Tmnt #1 3rd print is still a far cry rarer book then Hulk 181s IMO.. If u ask me a 9.4 asking for 1k is peanuts compare to what it will fetch when this so called “cooling” phase hits which I don’t see for a few months.
  4. Well said.... The printing alone for any 1st 2nd to 3rd print alone is lower then any modern book printed today which keeps this book favourable especially over the hyped Miles Morales UF4 first prints which I’m sure is over 100,000 copies? Rather put my eggs in a Tmnt #1 3rd print high grade over a UF4 9.8 which by the way that’s stabilisation has hit around 1000-1100.00. Turtles are 35+ yrs old,and this price correction was long overdue in my opinion. You ain’t seen nothing yet
  5. It’s not hype it’s turtle mania 👏👏😍 a 9.4 for 1k 3rd print will be a bargain by this time Dec.. 🤟
  6. I was fortunate enough to trade one of my 1.5 Af 15 for a 9.4 Tmnt 1st print 2years ago. Best thing I ever did 👏
  7. First prints I don’t see any pull backs or if there was one a very slight one many years down the road as the supply of less then 800 exists on the census dictates a majority of them were prob trashed and not cared for which is why u seen maybe trickles getting added over the past 2-3yrs on the grading table. Remember all 3 prints are unique and compare to the print runs of most books in the 80s the 3rd print is the lowest at 30,000 over every marvel or dc key printed back in the mid 80s. Book has finally showed the love it deserved and it’s the reason why they are getting snatched up and people are paying more to get them now more then ever.
  8. Niiiiice pick up... With 1st and 2nd prints reaching incredible prices the 3rd prints are starting to push hard core!! 👏👏 I loooove being a turtle 😊
  9. Come the FOMO sickness u hear in that creepy tone voice that only u can hear lmao
  10. Def worth grabbing the high grade 3rd prints because those 9.4-9.8 3rd prints are going to push crazy money still as most are priced out of the 1st and 2nd.. 3rd printimg is still the number #1 appearance folks and even if it’s 30,000 print copies it’s still lower then Hulk 181 printing that only 10yrs older 👌 food for thought.. Put it this way, were most comics printed in the low 30,000 copies in the mid 80s? "No" which means this 3rd print is still much scarcer then majority of any book that was printed in the 80s..Yes it's not the first print we get it but most books were printed waaaay over 100,000 copies and majority of them were not a major first issue key that could stand up next to the TMNT #1. Can a 3rd print fetch major prices absolutly because it's got everything going for it being still a #1 issue regardless of its a 3rd print.. Time to watch the prices on these go up..pass the popcorn this is gonna be good
  11. Dam!!!!! These are going up hardcore now the 3rd prints FOMO folks
  12. Oh man once you see a grade like that 9.6 3rd print snag it as fast as u can its easily gonna double in price down the track 😳
  13. 3rd prints is the way to go cause the 2nd prints are getting up there waaaay up there. Smart plan is grab the 3rd print cause it's still the first appearance of the TMNT #1 book no matter what..
  14. Dang!!!!!!!! TMNT #1 are on fire... Grab the 2nd and 3rd prints cause they are also picking up major heat..

  16. Summer Lovin had me a blast!!! Miles Morales SS 9.8 CGC Mark Bagley Folks!!!!! Hot Hot Hot.. There is a slight crack on the right bottom side that does not effect the book inside. I will take in consideration and drop the cost by $30.00 to cover re slab'ing fees to new owner. Shipping is North America Payment via paypal. 17. Wondering on thoughts to WD #1 prices in the future. Do you see the book stabilise at its current prices or will the book itself tank with no show. Or is it wise to hold on to it??
  18. First in thread wins over any PM discussions or takes. US/Canada and international excepted payment via No returns. Thanks for looking. Shipping will be $30.00 for each book or if decide to take both it remains at $30.00 2 gorgeous books for sale..First up ASM 15 first Kraven the Hunter. Really nice copy!! No dog ears or creases to distract the Ditko classic issue. “No restoration” I would give the grade conservative 5.0-5.5 O/w pages that’s never been pressed or cleaned. Amazing Spider-Man #15....$700.00 + $30.00 shipped. Next we have Submariner #1 I bought this many years ago as a NM- from a highly reputable dealer. I’m making it as a Vf/Nm just to be on the conservative side. Truly a very beautiful high grade copy. I would conservative give the book a 9.0 ow/w pages, but again could be 9.2 after pressing and cleaning. Submariner #1 ....$750.00 +$30.00 shipped
  19. That's exactly my point also.. Go with what u want more. Stop dwelling on investment investment investment I'm getting sick of collectors who chase the magic investment book rather then get what they love the most.. It's the worst way to collect like driving through a snow storm is what it is.. If Nova #1 goes up in value let's say then hey I think il be the FOMO person and jump on that book cause it's a book that's gaining in value right even though I don't care two u know what about it.. Don't ever buy a book u truly don't want cause u will regret spending money on it one day.. Ask yourself this question,,,,If gold prices are going up does that mean everyone should buy gold? Even though u like Silver more?
  20. That I totally understand because majority of collectors are the cautious ones. They want the book but are not gonna sacrifice or bleed out to aquire there grail. Which is why the lower grades at some point will go way to high eventually then tap out the other collectors behind them
