Since I already have two offers from two different dealers at $8500 for my Show 22 7.0, I think the 8.0 will be up near $20k.

I don't believe the club has ever seen Foolkiller's 7.0 off-white copy yet. It would be a pleasure to see Foolkiller's copy since it's in the 6.0 and above club (one of the few which we have not seen yet).

 

You should see his 8.0.

I've noticed a huge surge in Showcase #22 submissions. I've graded 8 copies today alone! I wonder if this thread had anything to do with that?

No...now that's the bar for a 5.5 that all other valuations will be based on...unfortunate for those of us still looking for a copy or two...though I'm sure this final price will seem cheap 6 months from now...

Wow $1200 for a 3.0!?!? Seems high no?

Harley is asking $1400 and it's probably a 4.0 because of the stain otherwise it's a very presentably copy with nice PQ. No higher than a 4.0 though due to the stain.

If anyone has one to sell -- raw or cgc'd -- please let me know! Cash in hand -- no time payments!

As has been discussed previously, the GSXmen #1 cover had sold but Len still owned the complete interiors to #181 -- which were destroyed in the fire.

One of the best pages of the last 7 issues and it foreshadows what's to come...

Butt remember -- in ST #114 -- that's the Acrobat -- not Cap. And the costume is slightly altered in the issue to underline the distinction. That still makes this a historic cover!

Hold on! That's really crazy because that means that Kirby drew this BEFORE Captain America appeared in Avengers #4!! Avengers #4 came out in 3/64. And Strange Tales #114 came out in 11/63.

Therefore, this may very well be the first published image of Cap done by Kirby in the 60s. That's really incredible!
