  1. I confess to having never heard of her and initially thought she was a character created for the show. I looked her up and apparently she does have some credibility. She has received six BET Awards, five BET Hip Hop Awards, four American Music Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award, and three Grammy Awards. At the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, she became the second female rapper to win Best New Artist, Time named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world. While it looks like an impressive list I don't follow the above mentioned awards etc. so what do I know?
  2. Great timing. Note that pause between "gin" and "fizz". And that occasionally shaky voice. She is so freaking hilarious. Lot of fun seeing her and Wongers interacting! Wong seems to be having a fine time.
  3. One big focus for me is high grade DC and CHarlton BA Horror. Now starting to enjoy the Marvel as well. Just got this from Crassus.
  4. Got an absolutely gorgeous DD182 CGC 9.8 from the good doctor. Amazing interactions all across the board. Can't wait to do more biz with this gentleman!
  5. Hey may be called Crassus but he ain't Crass! Just completed my first purchase with him to ridiculous amounts of satisfaction. As Wade Williams may have said: "I feel I received preferential, borderline gentle, POSSIBLY even loverlike treatment!" Nicely done Crassus!
  6. Well, for the first time I was bored. Just nothing engaging. Did I miss it or was there no end-credit scene? I have to go back and watch E4 again to get my "gin and tonic" chuckles.
  7. I know it blinded ME!!! Sweet explanation!
  8. My baked pasta with homemade whole milk Ricotta, fresh Mozzarella, Reggiano Parmesan and Pecorino Romano. Homemade tomato sauce with Italian Sausage. Sordid herbs for flavor and a bit of crushed red pepper for kick. I enjoy this while watching/re-watching THE SOPRANOS, or anytime.
  9. Even the writer of the article decided to ridiculously magnify the extent of it: "the episode quickly and continually spoiled multiple deaths and key plot points from the critically-acclaimed and award-winning series." Two deaths were revealed in two scenes, one sentence per scene. Nothing about why the deaths took place, so no real plot points. That constitutes "quickly and continuously"? Not to mention the headlines of many internet and youtube articles and videos outright state the same "spoilers" with minimal search effort. The foolishness continues.
  10. Regarding Madissyn, does everyone have to be an inspirational (aka stereotypical) role model? Madissyn has no guile. She does not seem to have a mean bone in her body. She seems to enjoy life and enjoy being herself. I see all that as being quite positive, especially for the kind of world we are currently living in.
  11. What a wonderful series of totally irrelevant posts. To make it relevant I will say something about Madissyn. But not now (cooking now).
  12. I am aware that fielding is involved. This IS Hollywood, after all. In the mid 70s I was actually an AP for a production company so I got a few distasteful tastes of duplicity etc. It is why I quit the field. Nowadays I do not have the inside edge. I don't have the actual facts, just what I can watch, listen to or read. And when those facts are contradicted (and not just by Disney Marketing) then I make my own judgements. When I seek out full videos as opposed to altered ones I make my own judgement. I tend to be a peaceful person who tries to see the good in others. But I see no good in the level of hatred (and yes it often manifest itself as hatred) over this. Just watch some of the videos with the edited/altered clips and listen to the rage the presenters display ($$$) and then the comments from the "followers" (more $$$). It is truly inane but many just eat it up because scandal can be delicious. PS - the "haters gotta hate" was not directed at you but at the youtubers/followers I was talking about.
  13. I never claimed it was "just youtubers". I was TALKING ABOUT youtubers. Big difference. BTW - do some searches about "How does Don Cheadle feel about Brie Larson" and similar. Try to wade though the The whole thing is blown totally out of proportion. Now I do not understand: it is a negative that she said she did all her own stunts. Is it a negative she would bring her stunt doubles on stage and introduce them to everyone??? She has explained the stunt double thing but of course people ignore that or discard it. Many in the Avengers cast have actually come to her defense but again people do not want to hear that. As far as ET goes, they are a CBS video tabloid who don't do what they do for free. After all, they ARE a business first and foremost. But as they say: "haters gonna hate". I can't post it here due to NSFW language but folks should also check out the Between Two Ferns with Brie Larson bloopers. Makes her seem a bit more human.
  14. You said a mouthful. Google has bsically ruined what used to be a great venue. And those ads (thank heavens for ad blockers), my least favorite is the one Youtube keeps pushing to get "ad free Youtube". Almost seems like a conflict of interests. Increase the frequency of ads while charging for the removal of them. Google finally got so invasive with that horrific update a few months back that I actually went from an android phone to an iphone.
  15. Well I said it a while ago but for me Captain Marvel is one of my favorite MCU films. I get so tired of the dark sometimes over-dramatic effluence that gets into much of the MCU. Now the first Avengers film was a refreshing take. Very funny, very cohesive and the best "team up" effort I've seen. I think Brie Larson pulled of her character perfectly. Her interaction with Fury was perfect. Colson's loyalty to Fury was spot on, especially considering he was a rookie back then. I listened to Brie ("don't call her Gorgonzola! She'll flp the **** out!") Larson's entire speech about "40 something white male" reviewers" and the negatives are taken totally out of context and never show the later part of that speech. I've watched the entire interviews with other MCU actors and most of them which make the rounds on a LOT of youtube complainer channels are actually the same few, edited to actually change the interactions. The furor over her is inane, inaccurate and largely fabricated so the youtubers can monetize monetize monetize. After all, isn't monetization the name of the game?
  16. Well I DID mention her 1st, I believe.
