  1. If you're concerned about it, just call customer service and tell them it's ok to remove it.
  2. Hit or miss if you don't include a note. Sometimes they just do it, sometimes they hold up the submission to contact you about it.
  3. Answer is yes, but it's not simple, or likely. And it would have to be regraded. If you got the artist to agree you could crack it out and send it to them (or send it to them and have them crack it out) then have them send it to CGC with the appropriate paperwork.
  4. I'm done for a while. Costs went up which would have been fine except TAT's keep climbing. Now when cons happen again (which will be soon) CGC will be all about it and cause TAT's to climb further. Couple that with new hires being extra extra trying to grade "accurately" adding even more to TAT's and we're also likely to see a slew of under/over/mis-graded books........
  5. @GAMBIT Looks like they finally found mine, moved to Grading/Quality Control today 05/20. Hope you're seeing some progress too. (And I hope it isn't destroyed, it was definitely a 9.6-9.8 book when I packed it up)
  6. My Miller/Janson book (same service, remarque & sig) shows finalized / imaged / shipped as of today 05/19... Ramos remarque & sig is still "scheduled for grading".
  7. From recent experience, no press goes straight to SFG. With press goes to received. (Haven't had anything actually come back from pressing yet but I'll try to remember to update on the SFG vs. received in 10000 days when it happens)
  8. Also, wrong forum, you should be in "Ask CGC". But here you go, latest from the site: "Now opening comic book submissions delivered the week of April 12, 2021"
  9. My Miller/Janson book (which happened weeks later) has moved to Grading/Quality control... Ramos submission# 3791069 is still at Scheduled for grading. What's the deal here?
  10. So my Miller/Janson book just moved to Grading/Quality control while my Ramos book (which happened weeks earlier) is still at Scheduled for Grading. What's the deal?
  11. I've seen what you're referencing when making submissions. I can't find it in the FAQs or on the site and I'm too lazy at the moment to do this for you, BUT: Just create another bogus submission to get to the point where that disclaimer is displayed. As long as you don't actually send anything for that submission you will never be charged.
  12. You can put them all together when shipping TO CGC, but no you cannot avoid the multiple return shipping charges from CGC.
  13. Slabbed, grouped by series in numerical order. Raw, bagged/boarded in a mixture of long and short boxes. I used to try to keep series in numerical order, gave up a long time ago. Took the CLZ plunge, numbered my boxes and catalogued everything in its current random order. Now organization no longer really matters. CLZ tells me what box, and where at in said box, everything is. Changed my life. I don't work for CLZ but I will promote that sh*t all day, erry day.
  14. As you can see from the thread no one can give you a solid answer, it varies. If those are the SOLE defects it could be 9.8, could be 9.0. But I'm chiming in regarding Ebay... If you're seeing spine ticks, there are likely more defects lurking that you aren't seeing. Not 100% of the time, but be wary.
  15. They will also make damn sure they don't have to pay you if something happens. Be ready to prove you sent what you say did, and be ready to prove 100 different ways what you sent is worth what you claim it is.
  16. I've got Modern Fast Tracks for pressing/grading "received" into the system on 03/17 that still haven't completed pressing, if that helps give you an idea...
  17. That's over in the "Trash" thread, here we stack:
  18. So my Miller/Janson book just moved to Grading/Quality control while my Ramos book (which happened weeks earlier) is still at Scheduled for Grading. What's the deal?
  19. My Miller/Janson book (which happened weeks later) has moved to Grading/Quality control... Ramos is still at Scheduled for grading. What's the deal here?
  20. I used a credit card (not a bank/debit card) so if all else fails, I'll dispute and Amex will take care of it with a chargeback. Hope it doesn't come to that, but I'll get my $$ back fo sho.
  21. I've had the same issue, emailed on 05/01 still no response. Been hounding them in the "Ask CGC" forum and the current situation is management is looking into it and working to get it resolved...
