  1. Another small batch of nice high grade books live on the Bay. Ultimate Spider-Man #33 9.8 (first ultimate Venom), Sandman, Spawn, Hulk / Wolverine and more... Auction style with low starting bids as always. Running for 7 days: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?sid=fisionbomb&isRefine=true&_pgn=1
  2. I'd speculate Witchblade as being the more likely of the two, but who knows.
  3. Singings are also on that list. (Artists initials on the box) And I can confirm they DO get processed more quickly. That being said, I can also confirm that when you try to skirt the system with other submissions in the same signing box, your other submissions are NOT "received" as quickly. 😥
  4. I've got books shipped with FT all over the box that were delivered 04/02... still not showing "received". Hope your luck is better than mine!
  5. A little over 24 hours left, ending tomorrow around 6:30pm eastern. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?sid=fisionbomb&isRefine=true&_pgn=1
  6. In my opinion, which has no research regarding sell prices, etc... They are less valuable for resale purposes because they move most of the "key" label info to the back. If I personally had the choice when buying an already slabbed/graded book: Between a custom label and a universal of the same grade, I'd pay a little more for the universal. (A LITTLE MORE) That being said, for my own collection of books I'm slabbing with no intention to sell, I sometimes go with the custom labels because I like the look. So: Contradictory and unhelpful. Take it as you may.
  7. Buuuuuuut CGC will "value" your books and bump up your tier to charge you more if... Soooooo: They don't assign values to books, but they do assign values to books.
  8. Erry day would be great, but I'd be pacified if they had this and only updated every two weeks at this point. I've been at this a long time and am well aware that we all have to basically submit it and forget, but a little bit of transparency with recieving times would be amazing. It's a fallacy to post TAT's when in reality it's TAT plus weeks or even months for receiving.
  9. Haven't seen an update in a bit... from what date is CGC currently opening mail and "receiving" delivered comics?
  10. Before the movies and barely anyone cared about Deadpool... I sold a New Mutants #98 CGC graded 9.6 for $80.00. 😣
  11. After pressing, still waviness? Am I correctly picking up what you're laying down here. . ?
  12. Still having issues. Unable to complete forms for submissions. **Update 04/22/21: After an hour of effing around with it, I was able to complete a couple submission forms.
  13. The certification number can be verified on CGC's site. https://www.cgccomics.com/certlookup/ Regarding whether or not you should be concerned that it's fake... probably not unless there are signs of the holder having been tampered with or the cert doesn't check out.
  14. I have read either the book or a copy of the book for all but one of the slabbed books in my collection. 1 book I purchased, never read and slabbed anyway. All but 3 of the slabbed books in my collection are THE ACTUAL book I read.
  15. This is the point right here: the character is spelled Noriyuki. Does "Nori Yuki" on the label affect the value? Probably not. Should CGC be held to a standard to properly present character names on their labels when identifying them? ABSOLUTELY.
  16. Same here (except I've never added the extra backing board as a front flap) CGC's window bags are definitely not required. I've never used them and submitted for multiple signings, most recently completed were Eastman and also Ramos, both in a homemade window bag. IMO making your own bags is better as you can control where the artist signs.
  17. Another nice batch of high grade books up on Ebay. Jupiter's Legacy #1 9.8, Ultimate Spider-Man #33 (first ultimate Venom), Amazing Spider-Man #529 (first Iron Spider suit), Spider-Man #1, Transformers #1 and more, check em out: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?sid=fisionbomb&isRefine=true&_pgn=1
  18. I've submitted books like this so I can confirm you get a qualified green label.
  19. Maybe not the exact Wolverine #1 you're looking for, but I've got a sweet Wolverine #1 going up on the bay tomorrow... A LOT less than $2k! 😎
  20. Round 7: Storm wins because of the "toaster in a bathtub" action.
  21. Round 4, any Spock wins. 1) Who TF is Alpha Flight? B) Vulcan death grip
  22. Round 3 Sue Storm stomps Marge Simpson. A) Sue has powers B) Sue has other fantastic MF'ers to back her up 3) Marge is a douchey hack that no one other than Homer cares about, and even Homer doesn't care that much.
  23. You don't have to remove it to get it graded... but it will be removed prior to grading. If you're hoping for a high grade I'd recommend removing it yourself and "pregrading" as best you can prior to submitting to determine whether or not it's worth it by your assessment. If you're not too concerned send it sealed to have CGC remove it, and let the chips fall where they may.
