  1. Fast track absolutely cuts down on TAT from my experience. Every. Single. Time. I understand your frustration (and everyone elses), I'm frustrated too. Buuuuuuut all the TAT information is now available to everyone before you submit. Do your research, know what you're getting into... a looong wait, and relax.
  2. If it's been graded and is simply STILL waiting for encapsulation, will you tell me the grade that was assigned to the single book in submission# 3791069 ?
  3. To redirect the thread to where it belongs: Submission #: 3806036 was charged at the new rates. Any update on when I can expect a resolution on these erroneous charges? Still haven't received a response to the email sent to accounting on 05/01/21...
  4. I'm good with grading 9.0 to 9.8+ books, solid track record from submissions but this low grade stuff I'm lost... Keep the grades coming, if anyone else wants to chime in, awesome and if anyone cares to elaborate on their grade reasoning that would help me learn. Thanks!

    What?

100% positive feedback!! (1 transaction, member since 2013)
  6. Any update on when I can expect this to be completed? 3791069 Still showing as "scheduled for grading".
  7. Submission (3802397) is still showing only "received". When can I expect completion?
  8. Wanted for my collection, to round it out as I don't have the newstands. Condition isn't a big concern. Was a cheap win (IMO), $89 for 1-4 all newsstands. Similar problems with all 4 but interiors amazingly were clean and free of staining and appeared to be white pages. No spine issues on #1, minor stresses on the others that appear pressable. I'd like more opinions if anyone else cares to chime in and I'll let everyone known the turnout when they come back in 10,000 days...
  9. Less than 24 hours, starting bids are low AF. Check em out! https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?sid=fisionbomb&isRefine=true&_pgn=1
  10. Pics aren't amazing, yanked from the Ebay post. Packed up and sent out for C/P before I thought to get opinions. So please grade my Wolverine Limited series #1. As is and post clean/press estimates, if you would.
  11. They SHOULD catch it, but I'd recommend notating it on your packing slip and with a sticky note on the bag of the book.
  12. "Worth collecting" is entirely subjective. If you love comics, then aren't they all "worth collecting"? To answer your question for what it actually is (What's new that I can buy cheap now and sell high later), no one knows for sure. To answer the latter part of your question: Currently there is more value in older/vintage comics.
  13. I suppose my greatest CGC disappointment is expecting QC and TAT's to improve.....
  14. Submission (3802397) is still showing only "received". When can I expect completion?
  15. I have the same problem, emailed accounting but haven't gotten a response. Submission #: 3806036 Any update on when I can expect a resolution on these erroneous charges? Still haven't received a response to the email sent to accounting on 05/01/21...
  16. Any update on when I can expect this to be completed? Still showing as "scheduled for grading".
  17. To everyone hand writing lists of their collection, do yourself a favor and get CLZ.
  18. It isn't any different, this also lowers the integrity of SS.
  19. Personally I'd love to have a ton of pressers available to crack/re-submit, but from a standpoint of keeping SS 100% legit, it's the right decision to only allow an associated company (CCS, through previous receiving by CGC) to handle this. Joe is legit, but almost anyone could be swayed by the right amount cash to start getting shady...
  20. You can manually search to find issues, or manually enter issues. You can enter issues by box, etc... Made it crazy easy to find anything I'm looking for in my collection. Know exactly where it's at without having to group by runs/issue number.
  21. Only took me a few days at a couple hours a day to catalogue 3000 books. And by blanketing a grade I discovered a ton of what I thought was worthless that had huge value currently. And you can easily remove or add issues at any point.
  22. Unfortunately they only show FMV if you assign a grade and they pull recent sale values from gocollect. Still helpful but it doesn't give you everything you'd hope for. Random sampling from my collection:
