  1. Just go with the flow... don't force us in if we don't fit at the time. Congrats in advance on your upcoming 2000th post!.. nearly all of which were delivered with class and proper grammer! ps.. i actually found a typo Hurrying to obey, Tran jumps into the pool of piranhas that was concealed under a fake floor next to the fake death trap. The fish immediately begin biting him. He bites back. >>The water is churns like a washing machine on a non-delicate cycle, with fish blood mingling with Tran blood as the two deadly species fight it out.<< in here >> <<
  2. Good to see Ol' Jupiter is stil kickin' I saw him mentioned awhile back to be included in an upcoming installment... but he was no where to be found?
  3. I've had the pleasure of working with these forumites recently... Chris Icamen (cicamen)... Easy to work with as usual. Quick, safe delivery too and a good deal! Chris is a no-nonsense guy and wasted no time moving ahead once a plan was agreed to. Greg Loey (greggy)... I think I've handed this dude enough loot to buy 250 pair of short-shorts! Seriously though, Greg is quite easy and fair to work with... not a "go for the juggular" type at all. Jeff Resnick (jordanabigail)... My good friend Jeff. It seems like we've had a constant deal running for 3 years now! Always a pleasure to work with and Jeff does what he says... when he says. Mike Periera (nextlevelmp)** ... Fist time working with Mike and a very pleasant deal it was. He was very quick, thorough and responsive via email and the phone. Constant updates and every effort was made to make the deal go smooth on a high dollar book. I have to give him the highest praise. I hope to work with him again as he's a VERY serious buyer/collector. Brian (doc)** ...multi-book trade pending. Easy to communicate and work with. I'm not sure why we have not worked together before. 4. why you sarcastic .... Actually I have had some killer SA FF's a while back... among which was a run of 9.4/9.6 Northland's... the best of which was a 9.6 51. Its not regular, but I run into some quality SA every so often.
  5. its a compliment... you're "dead on"... the others were NOT with in 4 grades in his opinion. Your grading rep. is about the best out there Mike. I've never bought a "raw" book from you (and for the life of me I don't know why) but I know several that have and received very favorable results when your grading was tested at CGC. In fact, I heard of a key or 3 that came back .2/.4 higher because you graded down for production flaws. You saw my CGC want list...if ever you have any "close" raw candidates.. PLEASE LMK.
  6. You may be on to something there Rick for those that want to get more technical with their feedback. I'm glad you'd send me books on spec.
  7. The Mystery is revealed.. Our friend Andrew had an idea... From: CaptainsOfIndustry ...As for the thread being tacked to the top of the marketplace, I pm'd Arch with the idea. I figured it could be used as unofficial positive feedback for the forum, to show newbies or people hesitating to deal outside of Ebay that there are honest people on here, and to dispel all the negativity that tends to be on these boards. AK
  8. OFFICIAL KUDOS THREAD FOR EVERYONE! The purpose of this thread was to thank everyone here on the forum I've done business with since I don't recall ever starting a thread here doing so. Although I appreciate the kind words, I didn't intend for the thread to be about me.. its about you guys!!! Anyway, since Arch was kind enough to "stick this thread" to the top... (probably because he thought it was intended to be a "Kudos Thread in general for ALL forum members to offer positive feedback for one another")... I edited the initial post to encourage forumites to offer feedback for ANY other forumite they feel is deserving of praise. from here on in... PLEASE FEEL FREE TO OFFER KUDOS TO ANY FORUMITE YOU'VE DONE BUSINESS WITH RECENTLY YOU FEEL DESERVES SOME RECOGNITION! [/i]
  9. I'll try.... thanks BTW... PLEASE Find me one and a 15 9.8 for that matter.
  10. Thanks Allan... Those were some sweet Jungle Actions. I have more ungraded stuff too still have that Tin Tin piece as well
  11. David... so sorry. Your name seemed very familair but I was not sure. I added you to the original post BB13 <-----
  12. It's always a pleasure Rick... there IS a lot of positives here. That's why i felt I should thank everyone i worked with. I don't think I ever took the time before to post about all the deals that went so well after I joined the forums almost 1 year ago.
  13. They're well-deserved David... I appreciate the kind words. Those (3) boxes of Batman's will be waiting for you. Check out my post in the Bronze section... I re-read BM-YearOne recently and had a review of sorts.
  14. Actually, I did - and you were right! The texture was wonderful and the experience overall was great! I have stopped buying my fave DeCecco patsa and am saving a BUNDLE in Chinatown! you know its pretty easy to make some Thai dishes too... even Pad Thai. Sautee the Rice Patsa with garlic, oil, galanga, kaffir lime (or other Thai sauces.. some are even available in mixes... Red Curry, etc.). Add ground up peanuts and shrimp and its damn good! If you go to a Thai restuarant try some Pad Kee Mao (Thicker Rice Noodles) you can almost figure out how to make it at home. Now I'm hungry
  15. I truly appreciated the effort Lee. I know you went out of your way to try and help me. At least it got you to submit a few books and make some cash on the CGC express. Told you those 9.8's were tough... even with some late bronze books. I think there's still only (1) 9.8 Iron Fist #1... go figure
  16. Thanks Mike... I didn't forget the shipping upgrade... it impressed me and told me you were a conscientious fellow who was more concerned that the package arrived safely and on time... than worrying about the extra $10 or so. Most don't think like that.
  17. Did you ever get a chance to make any Sushi or Rice Pasta recipes?
  18. My pleasure Chris... I'm sure we will work together soon... came close with that Defenders 1 9.6 White... but you ended up with a nice 9.4.
  19. That whole 911 experience of yours was something... so close. Now, I'm holding you to that Philly con meeting...you dimed out on me 2 years in a row. This past year you actually chose a new job over meeting me...the nerve.
  20. Thanks very much for that... the feeling's certainly mutual. I'm still drooling to see whats in AK's SA vault.
  21. Huh? BTW..how do you create large text like that... PM me, Don't ruin MY thread
  22. I "had" kind words for you, but I inadvertantly deleted them when editing in your full name... I'm glad you saw it... "Thoughtful guy who brought me Original Art Pages which had the letter pages of Hulk 180/181."
